Chapter 8

           As Levi and I slowly got to know each other, I learned that he is fluent in Japanese, English, and Spanish. My eyes glistened in amazement at how talented he really was: he is amazing at killing Titans AND he can speak three languages fluently. "Tch. What's with that look on your face?" He asked.

"You know Japanese?" My (e/c) orbs continued their sparkling.

"If I have some free time I can teach you some I guess."

"Really? Yayyy thank you, Levi!" I jumped into his arms and hugged him. 'Wait... am I hugging Levi right now?' I thought and pulled myself away from him. He didn't seem bothered though, just a little shocked. "Sorry, Commander..."

"Call me Levi."

"Ok, Levi."

"Arigato. There's your first lesson of the day."

"What does that mean??"

"It means 'thank you," he began walking away.

"Oh. Arigato, Levi. For everything," I smiled gratefully.

"You're welcome, brat." A small smirk rested on his flawless before he continued walking away.

I knew about everyone's ability to become a Titan and I knew exactly who was capable of doing so. I was scared of how they would use their power though. What if one of them finally snapped and decided to use it against us? I knew that I had to strategize with them but how?

    I walked over to Annie and sat beside her at a table. "I know your secret," I told her. Her eyes widened and she began to sweat. "W-what secret?" she asked.

"How many secrets do you have?" I chuckled.

"Seriously, which one?"

I leaned over and whispered, "I know that you can become a Titan by will."

"H-how did you know?" her hands clenched.

"I'm not telling you." I walked away. She glared at me as I walked off and I didn't care. She might as well know that I know what she is capable of. And also how to kill her if I needed to.

    Soon later, I was running late to a meeting. How could I have forgotten about the meeting? I thought. It wasn't too big of a deal, I could've just apologized. I wasn't that important, so my absence wouldn't hurt anyone.

    I walked through the hallways when suddenly, Annie popped around the corner. She shoved me into the wall putting pressure on my neck, preventing me from breathing. I twisted her arm, removing her hand from my neck. She struggled but soon released her arm from my grasp. Annie then swung around and continued to choke me and I did the same to her. Suddenly, she kicked my leg, causing me to fall to the ground. She stood over me while continuing to strangle me.

    Immediately, I heard a voice coming from around the corner. I soon realized it was Levi saying, "Y/N, you're late to the meeting. Commander Erwin had me come and get you." He finally saw us and somehow, I managed to kick her off of me.

    I ran over to Levi and pulled him into a private room. "What's going on, Y/N?" He asked confusedly.

I was still out of breath and struggled to form words, "A-Annie just attacked me because... I know that she's a T-Titan."

"Well, we have to tell Erwin." He responded.

"I know, but we can't right now since she's a participant in the meeting." I added.

"Hmmm... you're right. We'll find a way to tell him eventually."

"Okay, thank you!"

"Are you okay though?"

"Yeah, just need a breath, that's all," I smiled.

    Deep down, I knew how Annie wanted to use her powers. And it's not for a good cause. I just wanted to believe that she was better than that. I had bruises on my neck from the amount of strength she used in her attempt to kill me.

    At that point, what hadn't tried to kill me? I had almost been killed by Titans multiple times. But all that mattered, was how I got myself out of those situations. Yes, I almost died several times, but I was smart to save myself. Some people were incapable of doing so.

    Levi and I decided to sit next to each other during the meeting with the permission of Commander Erwin. It wasn't awkward, sitting silently next to him. I was actually glad that I could be anywhere near him. After all, there weren't very many other people I wanted to sit next to.
