If you're reading this, thank you so much! I'm sorry if I don't post new chapters very regularly, school is hella annoying and always getting in the way of everything, but anyways... I hope you enjoy this book. I am thinking about making a sequel, not continuing this story, more like going back in time, if that makes sense. I'm gonna stop wasting your time now, enjoy!

I was laying in my bed one morning. It was unusually chilly and my blanket covers weren't as soft as I had remembered. The bed was lumpy and unsatisfying.

I groggily awoke, rubbing the sleep out of my tired eyes to see a 2d world around me. My surroundings were so unfamiliar and... oddly cartoony.

This isn't my house...

    I stood up to explore and found a bathroom. There was a vintage bathtub, toilet, sink, and a dirty mirror. In the mirror, there appeared to be a figure, who I soon realized was myself. I was in shock, I had never seen myself in such a way before. My appearance had completely shifted over one of an anime.

    Realizing where I was, I ran over to a window beside my bed. In front of me was the village from the disastrous television show I had been binge-watching the day before - attack on titan.

There were so many emotions I was feeling: excitement, fear, and much more.

    Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door.

I ran over and opened it to see Commander Erwin standing above me. He was a lot taller than I expected. I was flustered, he's such a well-respected man unlike me.

"There you are Ms. L/N. Are you ready for the meeting?" he asked.

"Uh,... meeting?" I questioned confusedly.

"Has no one informed you? We have a meeting today in 15 minutes. Hurry now, you mustn't be late." He said speeding away. There's no way Erwin just spoke to me. I'm hallucinating. There was armor in my wardrobe that fit me perfectly. I looked in the mirror and the only thing I saw was a baddest bitch in town.

    There were many meeting rooms in the hallways of this old-looking, but clean, building. Assuming that a random room was a bathroom, I walked in.

I waltzed into this unknown room, dancing in celebration at the fact of being in my favorite television show, not realizing where I actually was. Opening my eyes, a horrifying fact that I really wished wouldn't be was awaiting me. Turns out, it was actually the meeting room in which I was supposed to be attending that I had entered instead of a bathroom. Oh, Lord... Why?... Why me?... Why today of all days?

    Around me, a bunch of people stood staring at me as I was frozen in disbelief. Annie, Mikasa, and a few other people were giving me a death glare. Meanwhile, Jean, Eren, and Connie were trying not to laugh.

    I couldn't help but run away. It was too embarrassing to just stay, so I just sat on a bench outside the room. Why do you have to screw everything up, Y/N?, I facepalmed myself repeatedly.

Soon later, I heard the creek of an old door opening. Lifting my head to see what the sound was, I saw a short ravenette, Levi Ackerman, walk out of the meeting room.

He took a look around for a second before laying his eyes on me and walked over to take a seat next to me. I covered my face to prevent him from seeing my internal screaming.

Talking to Captain Levi was the last thing I wanted to do after such an embarrassing scene.

    He then said, "what was that?" And chuckled slightly.

"I don't even know, I thought it was a bathroom," I said through my hands.

"Are you embarrassed?" He asked.

"What do you think? I'm humiliated. Bruh, I never wanna show my ugly face again." I responded quickly.

"It happens to the best of us. I mean, not quite the same, but we all do something embarrassing at least once." He reassured me with his legs crossed. I giggled but was still dying on the inside. He stared at me for a couple of seconds more and then curiously asked, "are you new around here? I don't think I've seen you around."

"Oh yeah! I'm from France."

"Why would you come here of all places?"

"I wanted to use my knowledge and abilities for good."

"You've got guts... coming here fully aware of our circumstance but still being willing to help us.

"I don't have guts. In fact, I'm quite a coward" I said sadly and looked down, thinking back to my past.

"Why do you say that?"

"... I just sat by watching my entire family get brutally slaughtered. I'm not brave, I'm no hero."

"Tell me more. What happened? If you don't mind me asking, of course" he exclaimed looking into my eyes.

"I was born here but moved to France when I was 8 or 9 to pursue my mother's dream of being famous. I had a successful singing, dancing, and modeling career and grew quite popular there. One night, my family and I were getting ready to go to sleep. I was standing in front of a bookshelf when a titan came crashing through the wall causing the bookshelf to fall on my leg. I struggled to get out from under the bookshelf but only ended up dislocating my ankle. After the titan finished off my family, it grabbed me and I crawled up its arm. I had few resources, so I had to use my only option, my jaws. So I bit as hard as I could into the back of the Titan's neck. Its flesh reeked of my family's blood. That was the only titan to ever be seen in France. But I did gain something from that experience, knowledge. I observed its behavior as it devoured my family." I got so lost in thought, my words flowed out of my mouth. My eyes were blurry from the tears filling my eyes.

"Damn... that's pretty bad." He said compassionately, "I'm so sorry" he put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me into a quick hug.

We were called back into the meeting and Ervin asked the large group of people, "does anyone know anything about the Titans that I should know?"

I then mumbled, "yes"

"What Ms. L/N?" He questioned.
