The next week I sat on my couch with Jeff watching Morgan getting knocked out cold. She was like that for the remainder of the match.
Jeff was staring at the TV like the world ended. I turned it off and looked at him.
"Hey it's not like it's the end of the world, right? At least she still has her head."
Jeff looked at me at that statement with the most intense face ever.
"I still love her..." he whispered quietly.
"Wait what? You still love her? Even after she denied going with you to OMEGA because the Knockout's title was more important?" I practically yelled in his face. "I would've never put myself first like that!! It was completely selfish and you don't deserve that!"
He got up and pulled me up with him. "Maybe you're right, but I was in the wrong by springing this up on her." He let go of me, and I felt a twinge of guilt for everything I did to Morgan all of a sudden. She didn't even know it was happening. I was supposed to be a Christian, for God's sake!! Oops, sorry God!
I sighed and ran my hand through my hair before looking up at Jeff.
"Tell me how I can help."
