"How?" Iyon lang ang natanong ko sa kanya. We just recently made up so I think it would be impossible for him to flip the property. It means that he bought this before he even found me because flipping and furnishing takes a lot of time. Sa laki ba naman nitong property, it would've taken him at least 6 months at the very least.

Pwede ring binili niya ito nang narenovate na. Mas tama iyon kung iisipin ko. I mean why would he buy a house for me when we broke up and he didn't have any clue where I was.

"I hold on to every memory that I had with you. When I learned that this property was on sale, I immediately put in an offer. I'm lucky that their daughter is a fan, they sold it to me. I had it renovated. This house has been sitting here waiting for you for almost two years now." He shifted a bit to rearrange Siobhan who's sleeping on his arms right now.

"It's our house now?" I asked as I look around the house. This house really fits my style. Sa tingin ko sinadya ni Silas iyon. I could put bits here and there to make it more personal. Imagining this as our home excites me.

Tumango si Silas. "For our family." Aniya. "Do you like it?"

Hindi ko na kailangang magisip ng sagot. "I love it, Silas. Siobhan will love it here too. When are we moving in?"

Silas laughed on my excitement. "Today?"

Naguluhan ako doon. I didn't pack all our clothes, only a weeks worth of it. "Now? Marami pang laman iyong closet ko nung nagimpake tayo and I don't remember seeing you packing after that."

"After we left, I had Robert and Riley pack your clothes. They should drop it off in a few hours or tomorrow morning. They just finished packing your clothes and now they're packing Siobhan's."

Natagalan sila pagiimpake ng mga damit ko. The amount of clothes that I accumulated in less than three months could rival the clothes that I had years ago. I shopped with Meara and Siobhan, let's just say Il Defonso women have a knack of going overboard when it comes to shopping. Even Siobhan has a closetful of clothes. Ang mga dating damit namin, dinonate nila. Nagiwan lang ng iba kay Siobhan dahil ayaw niyang ipamigay iyon.

Sigurado akong matatagalan din sila kay Siobhan. Siobhan has many dresses. Ginawang manika ni Mom ang anak ko. Halos araw-araw binblhan ng bagong damit.

Speaking of Mom, bumaling ako kay Silas. "Paano ka nagpaalam kay Mom?"

"I asked her when you were in the shower." Kaya pala nang nahapin ko siya kanina matapos akong maligo, naabutan ko siya sa dining area kasama si Mom. Dad and Lola was there too. When I asked what they were talking about, wala silang sinagot sa akin. Lola was quick on her feet, figuratively, and asked me about the wedding. Mabilis kong nakalimutan ang nakita dahil sa mga tanong ni Lola at naalala na lang ngayon.

I just got engaged yesterday and I don't have any answers for her question yet. Odie started getting fussy again. I think he's familiar with the place naman kaya binaba ko na siya. Wala naman akong nakitang pinto na nakabukas so he's free to run around the house.

"I almost thought that your mom wouldn't let us move in together. Lalo na nung sabihin ko na sa batangas ko tayo planong tumira." He must've been nervous when he asked. Vocal pa naman si Mom sa mga bagay na ayaw niya. "It's a good thing that your Dad was there to support me. I did have to make a promise though."

That peaked my interest. "What it is?"

"To give a room for them here and make Siobhan visit them often. Ayaw malayo sa apo." Exterior pa lang ng bahay mukhang maraming kwarto. It's not like we can occupy them all naman. "Do you want to look around?"

"Mamaya na lang baka matakot si Siobhan kapag nagising sa hindi niya alam na lugar. Padilim na rin kaya baka bukas na. Siobhan will love the beach here." Sumunod ako sa kanya sa pag-akyat. He entered a door and I saw a princess bed. Iba iyon sa kama ni Siobhan , hindi kasi pink iyon. I think the blue bed matches well with the vibe of the house.
