Chapter 81-You lied to me

He looked at me with disbelief.

"I am sorry to say this Sid, but it's true. Though I've promised her that nothing would happen without her consent but I really want you to try harder to gain her apology before she changes her mind. After yesterday's outburst, I don't know if she'll still want to talk to you" I said, sighing.

"I'll try Akash" he said with a small smile.

Locking the door of our flat behind us, we proceeded to our flat.

"Do you think girls will give us breakfast?" he asked when I rang their doorbell.

"Why do you ask?" I asked him.

"I don't know, I just feel like when Kriti sees me, she'll kick me out. Why did you have to fire our maid? At least that way I didn't have to go to office on an empty stomach" he said, huffing.

I chuckled listening to him.

"What? Don't laugh okay. If she kicks me out of her flat, you'll feed me breakfast today" he said.

"Okay" I said, laughing.

The door then burst open and I came face to face with a smiling Siya.

Oh my god, please save my poor heart.

Keeping my hands on my heart, I said "hey beautiful."

"Hey handsome" she said and winked at me.

"Oh...someone's very happy today" I said, entering the flat, Sid followed me.

"Yes I am" she said beaming.

"I got such a wonderful view of a very lovely person so early in the morning. Of course I would be happy" she said.

Taking her in my arms, I hugged her tightly. She hugged me back.

"Good morning" I said.

"Good morning" she said and looked at me.

I pecked her lips but before I could deepen the kiss, I heard a throat clearing and Siya immediately backed away.

"If your PDA is done, we should head for breakfast" Sid said.

"Oh yeah, breakfast. Right, of course" Siya said and immediately went to the kitchen.

"It'll be ready in ten minutes. Can you all please arrange the plates by then?" she said from the kitchen.

"Of course" I said and we proceeded to the dining hall.

While arranging the plates and glasses, I heard Sid say "thank God I wasn't kicked out."

"I don't have to feed you now" I said chuckling.

"Ha ha. Very funny" he said, rolling his eyes.

"What are you doing here" we heard a voice making our heads snap to the direction of voice.

"Spoke too soon" I mumbled and he glared at me.

"Shut up" he said, gritting his teeth.

The question of course was directed towards Sid.

"I...I came here for breakfast" he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"You only eat breakfast here. have you even learnt how to cook in all these bachelor years of yours?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Yeah..I guess" he mumbled.

I sat on the chair looking between them as their conversation went on.

After few seconds of glaring at him, she shouted "Siya."
