I notified Sophia about being nearby our district and would probably take less than 10 minutes to arrive. I seriously couldn't shake off the feeling of uneasiness when I remembered how Ella would react when I talk about Sophia
Is Sophia a bully or something ??? Kind of weird of Ella to react in such ways. But it can't be right ??? In my point of view, Sophia is like... Too nice.
When I've arrived at our house, I see her waiting outside of the gate. I stopped my car and she got in
"Good afternoon Josh" she greeted
"Good afternoon Sophia" I greeted back
"How was work so far ?" asked Sophia as she buckle up her seatbelt
"It was great. How was your day ?" I asked as I started on driving
"You told me that you were meeting with you friend" I added
"Oh, it was decent. After all we've met like a few days ago, so it's not that exciting for me. Though, I had fun" she replied as she pulled out her phone
"Ah, I see. Have you eaten lunch though ?" I asked
"Nopeeee" she replied
"Should we go grab something to eat first ?" I asked
"I don't mind but what about you ??" she asked
"Like I said, it's fine. I've settled my works and there's no meetings in my schedule today. My secretary is there to take care of stuffs" I said to her as I focused on the road
She let out a sigh
"If you say so" she uttered
"You sounded upset. Why ? You don't like hanging out with me ?" I asked
"No no no, of course no ! I like it when you make some time for me, but work is still work you know ?" said Sophia
She really is strict when it comes to this huh ?
"But since you're too persistent, I can't do anything about it" said Sophia
"Well I can't just let you do all the works in the house right ? It's our house and we have to take care of it" I said to her
"It's not just your responsibility, it's mine too. You are also my responsibility you know ?" I added
She let out a soft chuckle
"Honestly I am just confused with our relationship now" she laughed
"What ? Seeing me as your wife already dearest Joshua Hong ?" she said teasingly and I could feel my cheeks heating up
"I-it's not like th-that !" I lowkey yelled, flustered.
"Ooh ~ Someone's flustered ~" she teased
She laughed upon seeing me blushing like crazy right now
"I'm glad you care about me though" said Sophia
