"Like I said, Coffee, later."

"Not happening." I deny.

"You sure I can't pursuade you?"

"Yes.
Now if you excuse me, I have a lot of work to catch up on."

"Work can always wait. I can't."

"I don't see how that's any of my problem."

"It will be, if you don't accept my offer."

"Are you threatening me, Mr Bergman?"

"The people who like me usually call me Rett."

"Great to know, Mr Bergman." I smirk a little to myself.

"See, that's why I like you. That attitude. " He grunts lightly.

"You can literally find a million of other women, you don't even have to try."

"Is that a compliment I smell?"

"In your dreams." I roll my eyes.

"Just one coffee."

"I don't go out with people I work with. Not anymore."

"Ouch. Straight rejection."

"I'm letting you down kindly. And now I really have to go."

"Okay, at least are we friends?"

"You never looked like a person to try so hard."

"I don't, which is why I'm bad at this. So, friends?"

I wait a moment before speaking. "Fine. Friends."

"Ah thank you, see you again, Grace."

"Bye."

I take a deep breath. I need to go check on the boys and the family representatives.

I stretch a little. My self harming personality had magically disappeared and I'm not complaining.

I wear full sleeve crop top and track pants getting my hair up in a bun. I take out my reading glasses that I haven't used in ages and wear them getting the clipboard for the papers.

I looked like a nerd.

I walk over to the elevator and press the button waiting. It arrives and I get in when I hear sprinting footsteps. "Hold it for me!" Harry.

He appears and rushes in even though the door wasn't closing yet. He takes a look at me as I look at him through my glasses that rested low on the bridge of my nose.

"Oh you're back to those glasses huh?"
He smirks a little as I hum a yes.

I'm going through the papers when I see a cookie held in front of me. "Cookie?" His voice calm.

"No thank you. I'm taking a break from from being drugged and used."
I state sarcastically keeping my eyes on the form.

He went speechless for a moment.

"I-"

"Shush. I'm working." I flip the pen between my fingers.

The door opens as I walk out and start walking to the room numbers mentioned. I hear him walking quietly behind me munching on his cookie. He had  always been a fan of cookies.

I knock on Jo's door and wait. He comes and stands next to me.

She opens the door and smiles immediately seeing both of us.

"Oh hey. Come in." She opens the door more.

"Hey. I totally would but I actually have these forms to distribute and make sure the family representatives to fill it out." I say handing out the form.
