KIM’S POV

As the golden sun touched my cheek, I witnessed how beautiful the day was - nothing seemed perfect than the blue sky and the bright ambiance from the rays of the sun. I jumped off my bed and prepared myself for a long battle that I was about to conquer. Today’s event is merely not a battle but in case, I could prepare myself for one.

I went to school immediately. I was pretty much excited of seeing the guy I wish to marry someday, the gorgeous Xian Lim of Basketball Team A. I could conclude that the no-boyfriend-since-birth gal slash supermodel is in love, very in love. No one would probably believe that I haven’t involved myself in a relationship yet. Well, I had flings but none of them were serious.

Same as the past few days, I sat next to Xian in our Mathematics class. He didn’t open up the ‘dinner’ for tonight. Yeah, I admit that I’m electrified with our first date. Date – well, I presume that it’s gonna be a date ‘coz he formally asked me to go out with him. I kept myself quiet while doing my stuffs as I tried to hide from him all the emotions I have in my system.

Right after the class, he held my arm which made me pulled myself to him. He just acted strange for the nth time.

“Don’t forget tonight. We’ll be having a dinner.” There. He just mentioned the dinner.

“Alright. 6:30 pm? I think I need to change my clothes first before attending this dinner.”

“Okay. Sasamahan na lang kita pauwi sa inyo para makapagbihis ka and so that I could ask a permission from your guardian. What do you think?” I realized, he’s somewhat a gentleman despite of his boastful aura.

“Much better. I’ll see you then.” I waved him goodbye. I failed to hide the curve on my lips. I’m too happy that my crush just asked me to have a date with him. I’m Kim Chiu, as what Steph always says, the famous Kim Chiu. But practically, I’m still a girl. Disregarding the fame that’s within my veins, I still could feel the ultimate ‘kilig’.

4:30 pa lang, uwian ko na. I had two hours to prepare. Ang ginawa ko lang nu’ng two hours na pag-aantay was answering the two remaining items for our project.

May mga iilang students, I think from freshmen came near me. “Oh my God! Si Kim Chiu! Oo nga, si Kim Chiu! Dito ka po pala nag-aaral.” “ Fan niyo po ako! Sobra!” “Ate, pwede po pa-picture?” “Grabe, ang ganda mo po pala talaga lalo na sa malapitan!” Hindi na bago sa akin ang mga eksenang ganito. Minsan nga, habang nasa gitna ako ng mall, bigla na lang akong pagkakaguluhan.

I waited for about 15 minutes bago dumating si Xian. He was with his teammates. Nakabihis na siya. Naka-blue siya na polo shirt and skinny khaki pants. He looks good on it.

I think Drew Sebastian ang pangalan niya. Model and basketball player ‘yun eh.

“Ulol ka ba?! I can’t do that!” Sabay sapak sa kasamahan niya. Pero tinawanan lang siya. Sarcastic na pagkakatawa. Eto namang si Xian, parang iritang-irita na.
