Luke's P.O.V
The words she was saying caught me off guard. If Kate didn't say she wanted to speak to me I would have been there for Bella, but I wasn't. She was hurt, vunerable. Her world is fucked up, the people she was bought up around ruined her.
"Don't speak like that." I said, after she exlaimed that she doesn't want to be here and that if Kate is to kill her, she wants her to do it fast.
"Whatever. I'm done with everything." She said picking up the gun and turning around.
"Where are you going?"
She shrugged. "Home."
"Why?" I asked.
Home is the last place she should go right now, she just shot her mother god knows where and she could be dead. Or she's alive and waiting for Bella.
"Can you please just leave me alone."
I shook my head and she tensed, tightening her grip on the gun. My heart rate grew faster, she wouldn't shoot me right?
"I can't leave you while you're like this."
"Well you will leave me Luke, please."
Before I was about to speak she turned on her heel and walked in the opposite direction of me. I knew that I shouldn't let her walk alone, especially in public with a gun. But I let her walk. As her figure was out of sight I ran to my car and started to yell.
If I didn't get into this shit with Kate, maybe things would have been better, maybe Bella would have one less problem to worry about, maybe she would have been safe.
When I snapped back to reality I started the car and just as I was about to take off Kayla popped out from infront of the car.
"Hey Luke." She smiled.
"Hi, look I don't want to sound rude but I really need to help someone right now."
"Who?"
"Bella.."
"Is Bella in trouble?" She gasped running to the side of the car and hopping in.
"She could be." I sighed.
"Then hurry the fuck up man. Lets go find her."
I listened to her commands and we took off. The drive to Bella's house was quick, and when we parked in the driveway Kayla sprinted to the front door opening it like the speed of light.
"What the fuck, get off Bella." She screamed.
Oh no.
"Bella, Bella. Fuck." Kayla said.
I ran to Kayla and the first thing I see, is Bella lying on the ground motionless. My heart crushed into a million pieces, and I was angrier than ever.
"Does she have a pulse?" I asked frantically.
"Hardly."
"Take her to the hospital, now." I ordered Kayla.
"What are you going to do?"
"Take care of something. Now go."
Kayla nodded and I helped pick Bella up and put her into the back seat. I threw Kayla the keys and she took off. When she left I looked back at the house and made my way inside.
I was more than angry, I was furious. I want to know how someone in their right mind could hurt someone innocent. When I walked into the kitchen I heard some ruffling outside the door so as soon as it died down I exited the kitchen to find a middle aged man shuffling in the lounge.
"Who are you?" I asked, beyond confused
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Look, I am just trying to help my friend out."
"Bella? Is she okay?" He asked frantically.
"How do you know her?"
He froze for a minute. "Bella, is my daughter."
Now everything didn't make sense...
IMPORTANT A/N:
So I apologise that my updating pattern isn't great. If you are a fan of me you would hopefully know that my wifi keeps disconnecting, making it hard for me to update. I'm writing everything on word until the wifi is all sorted. Right now, the internet is working okay but it will cut off soon so this week please just hold on and wait for me to update please, I don't mind you commenting 'Update' or anything like that but please remember that I do try and update when I can. Oh and btw when I go back to school, I have exams that I have to pass so I will update less then but I will update when I can. I apologise if you want me to update more, and I'll try. But just keep in mind that my wifi is shit and that I will be very busy, very soon... Okay sorry if the chapter sucks... I just wanted to update so FILLER TIME! xoxox
