The Hogwarts Rivals (Dracoxreader)

The Fight

I have completely forgotten about the fight so I asked Harry "is Hermione's plan ready" "yes she told me that she over heard some of the Slytherin's talking and she said that they said, that Malfoy won't give you the ring even if you win" he told me, "what! Well can you tell me the plan now so I know what I have to do?" I asked.

"Hermione wants to tell you her self" Harry said so we made are way over to Hermione who, was standing with Ginny and Ron.

"Hey y/n I asked Ginny and Ron to help because we are going to need as many numbers as we can just I case if things go south" Hermione said in a worried tone, "okay yeah that's great can you tell me the plan now" I asked, Hermione then went on to explain her plan.

"Since the fight will be happening in the courtyard we have the advantage because Ginny, Harry, Ron and I will be hiding in the woods watching everything that is going on" Hermione explained, "and knowing Malfoy his followers will not be far" Harry then added.

"Alright then so what do you need me to do?" I asked, "well, you some how need to get the ring off his finger and when you do you need to run for you life into the woods, and you will hand one of use the ring and keep running and hope that no one see you make the exchange" Hermione explained,  "alright Hermione I trust you I think we can do this" I said "I know we can do this" Ginny added.

We finished talking and went are separate ways, I knew that Malfoy wanted to have the fight one hour after Quidditch tryouts so, that gave me time to mentally and physically prepare myself.

I was still in my active clothes so I decided that I will go back to the Quidditch pitch and run some laps up and down the bleachers steps.

I started running when I heard someone running behind me.

"Trying to run away Reyes?" There it was the voice of the man I was about to duel, "Malfoy I don't have time for you right now" I said and picked up my speed but, so did he.

He had caught up with me and sped up until he got in front of me and stoped and grabbed my shoulders, so I couldn't go around him.

"You know I will win right" he said in a very cocky tone,"Oh, yeah and what makes you think that Malfoy?" I asked, "oh, don't worry about it because, I have my ways" he said confident.

"What would your ways be?" I asked just to see if he would actually tell me but, he didn't, "I said don't worry about it!" He said sounding more angry this time.

"Wow dose someone have anger issues" I asked because I knew out would make him more mad. "And who the bloody hell do you think you are talking to me like that!" He said with anger in his eyes and tightening the grip on my shoulders.

"Calm down Malfoy save it for the duel and let go of me" I said and he just stared into my eye for a moment before letting go and saying "see you in 15 minutes" then he left.

"Well that was strange" I thought to myself, I walked out of the pitch and towards the courtyard with my wand in hand, because this is a duel after all.

I made it to the courtyard and nobody is there, I made sure to face myself towards the woods so I can run there easily once I got the ring.

I has now been ten minutes before I hear foot steps coming towards me, it wasn't only one set it was three.

I look over and see Malfoy walking over with Zabini and Nott.

"So you really think you are going to lose eh, Malfoy" I loudly said as the approached, "oh I am not going to be the one losing today Reyes" he said sounding confident, I look down at his hand and there it was my ring.

"Oh, but you must be scared of me that you need your two cheerleaders to back you up" I said and I look at the two boys who looked at me with their fists balled up, and anger in their eyes.
