Karamel POV

I was talking to Quame and Jaliyah when the door started being pounded on.

"POLICE OPEN UP." Someone shouts.

"What y'all do now?" I ask Quame.

"Literally nothing." He says.

I walked to the door and the police came in attacking Quame.

"August Alsina you are under arrest for reported child abuse." They tell him.

"I ain't August you dumb bitch!" Quame yells at em.

The officer looks at me.

"That ain't him." I inform em.

They uncuff him.

"You said child abuse?" I said.

"Yeah. A girl by the name of Jazmin reported it." He says.

"This fucking kid...JAZMIN." I yell out.

She comes down the stairs looking nervous.

"Did you call the police?" I ask her.

She nods.

"I-I'm sorry. T-They didn't do anything, I got mad at em." She confesses.

"Sorry sir, ma'am you may wanna control your daughter." The officer says before leaving out.

"August may not have the right you hit you, but I do." I smack her.

"Are you out of your mind?" I ask her.

"I-I'm sorry. Please don't send me away." She cries out.

"You want my baby to die right? Aug owns this house, he can deal with you." I shake my head going upstairs.

Quame POV

I pick up Jaz.

"That was way outta pocket Jaz." I sigh.

"I know but Quame please don't let them send me away." She says.

"I'll see what I can do, but you gotta lose this stupid ass attitude." I warn her.

She nods, wiping her tears.

Aug walks through the door and stares at her.

"Yo sista told me what you did, I am yo legal guardian...I adopted yo ungrateful ass. I opened my crib to ya, I buy you everythang you want before you ask. I got ya name tattooed on me, everywhere we go, I tell people you my kid. You repay me by wishing death on my child and call the police on me cause a bitch slap? I barely touched yo ass, believe me if I wanted to hurt you I would. I want you out my goddamn house." He says calmly, which is surprising.

"Dad-"

"Don't call me that." He warns.

"August please, I'm sorry. Please, he was bullyin' me I was scared, I just listened to him. He works with a gang, he said the leader hates you. He said I had to get kicked out or he'd kill me, please I'm sorry. I tell you everything." She cries out confessing.

"Yung choose ya next actions correctly." I warned him.

Dis nigga crazy no cap.

"Why yeen tell me?" He asked her.

"I didn't wanna die and they threatened Aj, and Kara and you." She says.

"What did you do?" He asked.

She waves us over.

"They're are camera everywhere." She said.

"We leave for vacation today, everybody pack ya shit." He says.

I heard a loud scream from the playroom.

We all ran in and Royalty was shaking, pointing to the window, that was open.

"Where Aj at?" Aug looks around.

"Somebody took him." Royalty cries.

I pick her up.

"Who baybeh? Who took him?" I ask.

"I don't know, you said I can't talk to strangers." She says.

There was another scream from upstairs.

"KARA." Aug runs upstairs.

Yung POV

Reaching upstairs, to our room, she was gone.

The window up.

"FUCK."
