JJ was struggling to keep his hands off Bianca. It wasn't sexual or physical or any kind of public display of affection- but they just couldn't stop touching each other- to the point where Pope complained he was nauseous and threatened to throw up in the back of the Twinkie if they didn't stop.

It was just that JJ had been starved of touch his entire life and Bianca had been depraved of love for so long that they felt unworthy of such feelings. It was the simple things, like JJ's arm over her shoulders or Bianca drawing small patterns into the boy's skin that tugged at the boy's heartstrings, unfamiliar tendrils of warmth thawing the icicles that pierced Bianca's frozen heart.

Bianca lay her head on JJ's shoulder, eyebrows furrowing slightly in concentration as she twirled the ring around his finger, "What does this mean?" She asked him, referring to the engravings upon the metal- it looked like a coin, but from another country or continent entirely.

"Dunno," JJ shrugged with a small smirk, glancing down at her, "I stole it," And savouring the teasing scoff that fell from her lips as she rolled her eyes at him.

"So they keep money out here..." Pope trailed off, snapping the two out of their conversation and glancing past the sparse shacks.

"That's what she said," JJ muttered before a small smirk formed on his face, "Hah- that's what she said."

His eyes drifted to Bianca's subconsciously, already anticipating her reaction- to which she giggled at, although Pope didn't mind it so amusing.

"Stop," Pope rolled his eyes at JJ's immaturity.

"I've never heard of Resurrection Drive," Sarah piped up from the passenger seat, beside where John B was driving the Twinkie down the empty road.

"That's 'cause you're rich," JJ scoffed lightly.

"You've never heard of it either," Kiara shot him a pointed look before winking at the blonde girl.

"Thank you," Sarah grinned back.

"There's nothing but weeds back here," Kiara watched the greenery drift by with her arms crossed over her chest, she'd barely seen three cars pass them on the way and a bunch of broken down houses that look like they've never seen the light of day.

"I mean just 'cause it's all weeds, doesn't mean it's like-" JJ shrugged.

Suddenly, piercing sirens interjected the group, all heads swivelling to the back of the van as John B began slowing down.

"Cops?" Kiara scoffed, her eyebrows pulled together, "Out here?"

"What did we do?" Bianca frowned as her heart began to accelerate in her chest.
