14 years ago Samara's husband divorced her for safety reasons. Him taking custody of their sons. Her taking custody of their 3 year old daughter and newborn daughter.
The 3 year old daughter Arcane was taken from her older brothers and her triplets, While the new born daughter Caterina was taken away from ever having memories of her father and brothers.
4 years later Samara remarried Walter, he took the rule of 'devoted father'. He truly did love Samara but he could do without her daughters. When Arcane was 8 Samara got in to a fatal car accident and died.
