Cait's POV
Shit, I thought. I got out of Barry's tight embrace and looked at him. He wasn't staring at me though. Instead he looked right at Dylan's car who was parked a few feet away.

"It's not what you think! I promise," I immediately say before he said anything.

"Right, right. He just happens to be there, parked in the back of our school, and YOU are, coincidentally, walking towards his car?"

"Ye-yes?" I ended it with a smile.

"You are such a bad liar. You know that, right?" He says while not taking his eyes off of Dylan's car. "You're both liars," he says and starts walking away from me.

"Wait, Barry!" I yelled reaching out to grab his arm, but he pulls away, stops, and turns around midway.

"Why?"

"What?" I asked.

"Why'd you hide it? Why'd you lie? To me?" He asked. He had this soft look on his face, as well as a hint of anger.

"I-I... I don't know. Maybe, because every time I was around Dylan, you acted crazy."

He scoffed and starting to walk away from me. "Why do you care anyways!?" I yelled out and he stopped for a few seconds, sighed and kept walking back to school.

I heard footsteps from behind me and a hand grabbed my sweater pulling me around to face them. "What happened?" Dylan asks. My face said it all and I just stared at him. "It's okay, he'll get over it. I mean now that he knows we don't have to sneak around anymore. You don't have to lie anymore, I know how much you hated lying." He kept saying all these things to comfort me, but I felt like shit. "Let's go and get something to eat," he says pulling me towards his car. I had nothing to say, so I just followed him.

Barry's POV
"Why do you care anyways!?" She yelled as I was walking back inside the school. I came to a halt, but couldn't bring myself to answer her question. So I kept walking.

But why? Why do I even care? I kept asking myself this question as I walked back into the lunch room.

"Did you find her?" Oli asked.

"Yeah, I was right," I say back. "I'm ditching, you coming?"

"Yeah. What about the rest?" He asked.

"They can come if they want. I don't care. I'm
leaving in 5, so you better hurry up," I say already walking out of the cafeteria. As soon as I get in the car the guys follow as well. "Alright, how about we throw another party, Tonight?" I asked. They all looked at each other with huge smiles on their faces. "I guess that's a yes. Call anyone you want to bring and tell them to ask their friends. I want there to be such a big ruckus that my neighbors will want to call the cops, got it?" They all looked at me confused, but they continued to call their friends.

A few hours had passed and we had called a bunch of people, bought the beer, and some snacks. I had time to think about what happened earlier. However, I didn't want to think about her question. The question I had no answer to. Yet. So I kept distracting myself with every little thing I could think of.

It was around 10pm and people were already filling up my house, the music was blasting loud enough for my neighbors and basically everyone from my whole street to hear.

An hour passed and I had a few beers plus a little bit of vodka and whiskey I had stashed away for myself. I kept thinking that perhaps Caitlin was going to walk through that door and come to me. But an hour had passed and still no Caitlin. I did think Caitlin had arrived at the party a while ago, when Felicity walked in, but she was accompanied by Oli and Jackson.

Another hour passed and I was officially wasted. I got up from where I was sitting, in the dining room, and tried walking upstairs, but ended up stumbling all over the place.

"WHOA! Are you okay?" Someone asked.

"Yeah! Yeah! Enjooooy the party! Have Fuuun!" I say and then bumped into a couple of people behind me.

"Hey! Watch it!" A guy yelled. He looked a bit older than me and the rest of the kids at my school.

"Or What!?" I spat back. "What'd you gonna do? Huh?"

"Shut it, you little bitch," he says and pushed me, making me fall onto the ground. The music was lowered and people started paying attention to the guy and me, they were shocked. Especially those from school. Everyone knew that no one should mess with me. I saw the couch that was right next to me and remembered that under it was a pistol I had stashed in case of an emergency. I reached my hand under the couch, started to pull out the pistol, when all of sudden, someone got on top of me and grabbed my hand.
