Jungkook and Jimin are the best of friends. They met in high school and now they are roommates in college

Jungkook has always loved the boy but he knows Jimin never looked at him that way. Jimin was studious and was never interested in a relationship or ever felt a need to be loved by a special someone and so Jungkook never confesses to Jimin about his feelings, afraid to lose Jimin completely

Jungkook and Jimin got into different majors even though they were in the same college so they often couldn't meet till it was time to go back to their apartment

Taemin loves to tease Jimin, especially when Jungkook wasn't around. Taemin liked Jimin and wanted his attention

Jungkook knew about it. He had warned the man before but Taemin never paid attention to that

Jungkook came to pick Jimin up from college seeing that Jimin was late that day. Jungkook didn't have classes that day so he decided to take Jimin out on an early dinner after the boy's classes were done

Jungkook had messaged Jimin he would be arriving in 5mins. Jimin messaged him back that he would meet Jungkook outside after going to the washroom. Jungkook was an impatient man so he went into the college to see Taemin's friend manning the bathroom stall. Jungkook knew something was up. He could hear Jimin's phone ringing from one of the man's pockets. He busts into the washroom after threatening the man, to see Taemin flirting with the boy who looked quite pissed at the man.

"Taemin I told you I'm not interested"

"One kiss baby... and you will be interested" Taemin says cupping Jimin's face

"Don't you dare!" Jimin says as he tries to push the man away

Jungkook sees red. He punched the man who punched him back. They had a fist fight till Taemin's friend came in and apologized to Jungkook and Jimin before dragging the man away

Jimin pouts and scolds Jungkook who was injured. They were back home now

"I can take care of myself...now your cute bunny face is all bruised up..." Jimin pouts as he softly cleans up the wound over Jungkook's forehead and cheek

Jungkook couldn't help but stare at the boy's pout. He loved Jimin and it was killing him not to taste the boy and make Jimin his

Jimin looks at Jungkook when he gets no response from the man for his scolding and suddenly Jungkook is leaning in and kissing him senseless

Jimin is of course shocked but something in him makes him kiss Jungkook back. It was his first kiss and he was surprised that he enjoyed Jungkook's lips against his as he hesitantly and curiously moved his lips

Jungkook pushes the boy softly to the bed behind him as they continue making out

They are breathless when they pull away. They both smile before Jungkook kisses the boy's forehead and then cuddles Jimin from behind

Jimin could feel his heart beating so hard. Jimin felt safe. He felt special. He felt loved. Is this what love is? He liked this feeling. He has cuddled with Jungkook before but this right now felt different. Good different. Jimin wanted more. Jimin giggles internally and then he panics - but what does it mean for their friendship now? Was their friendship ruined?

Jimin wakes up to see Jungkook staring at him. He has never really paid attention to Jungkook's intense stares at him before. Whenever Jimin did manage to catch Jungkook staring at him, the man would quickly change his gaze away. This time Jungkook didn't move his gaze. The look Jungkook had for Jimin was like he was the most precious thing Jungkook owned. Jimin could feel a chill run down his spine. He felt shy and so he immediately turns away when Jungkook's words stops him

"I love you Jimin..." Jungkook turns Jimin around. Jimin looks at him wide eyed "...not as a brother...and more than a friend...can I be your boyfriend?"

Jimin sobs suddenly and Jungkook is worried

"I.. I don't know what I feel about you... I like you.. you are my friend... I never thought of you that way..." Jimin is sobbing into his palms, scared of losing Jungkook. Jimin didn't want to lead Jungkook on if he didn't feel the same for the man

"Did you regret last night?... did you not enjoy it?" Jungkook asks softly trying to understand if Jimin really didn't like him like that or was he just confused and scared of a new relationship between them

"I loved it... I... I don't regret it.." Jimin says looking at his palms

Jungkook smiles as he softly kisses the boy's head. Jimin's eyes widen at that sweet gesture

"I'm ready to wait as long as you need me to... I love you Jimin and till you realise that you love me back, let's date..."

Jimin smiles as he looks at Jungkook's eyes filled with love for him. They went on one date before Jimin was ready to be Jungkook's.

Yea, the boy realised that he did want Jungkook to be his boyfriend. After experiencing one date with the man, Jimin wasn't ready to go back to being just friends again. Jungkook spoiled him in a different way than when they were just friends. Jimin really liked being Jungkook's baby
