"Why are you crying!?" Jungkook asks, drawing near Jimin 

Jungkook had just come home to find his husband Jimin silently crying on their bed 

"J-Jungkook.. you are h-home... I didn't hear you.." Jimin says sitting up on the bed and wiping his tears 

"...and you didn't tell me the reason for your tears" Jungkook says coldly as he sat down next to Jimin on their bed 

"I... Mr Lee was touching me inappropriately at work.." Jimin manages to say 

"Are you okay?!" Jungkook's eyes reflect his worry before it is masked by his anger when Jimin nods his head okay "...how did he touch you?!" 

"...my thighs….he kept squeezing it in spite of me trying to remove it and I asked him to stop it.. in the conference room...nothing more happened but... I feel so dirty..." Jimin sobs 

Jimin expected his husband to show him some comfort but Jungkook was cold as ever 

"Things like these happen...don't think too much about it.." Jungkook says through gritted teeth and then abruptly stands up and walks out

Jimin was shocked, he felt hurt with the lack of emotions in those words but he could  also see the pain in Jungkook's eyes and the way Jungkook's hands formed into a clenched fist when Jimin had told him what happened 

Jimin knew Jungkook cared but he wanted more than just the knowledge of his husband's possible  love for him

Jungkook was Jimin's senior in college. They knew of each other because Jimin's best friend Taehyung was dating two of Jungkook's close friends at the time. They often used to hang out as a group. Jimin used to wonder if  Jungkook hated him or loved him. It was either of the two,Jimin was sure. The senior who generally had no reaction to anything happening to anyone around him, would start glaring at anyone who came close to Jimin. 

Once, Jungkook even stops Taehyung, who went to help Jimin and instead he himself carries Jimin to his car when the boy twisted his ankle one day in college. Jimin's heart would always skip a beat when the senior would do such things, just for him. 

But other than that, Jungkook had never shown his interest towards the boy. Jimin thought Jungkook was probably a loner , that was until Jungkook's family brought the proposal to Jimin's family for marriage.

After marriage, Jungkook would take Jimin out on dates to places Jimin loved to visit. But those dates were timed and planned according to Jungkook's schedule, Jimin had to make time around it. Jimin felt   upset that Jungkook takes their marriage as a duty to be performed like a job. Jungkook provides Jimin with everything he could ever need or want- materialistically but is that what Jimin really wants?

Jimin remembers a time when he got mad at Jungkook for booking out an entire restaurant for Jimin to eat peacefully. Jimin just wants a normal life. He doesn't want Jungkook to go extra for him. Jungkook doesn't realise these gestures are making Jimin uncomfortable, burdened  and definitely not loved 

Jungkook just assumes providing Jimin according to his needs, wants and with gifts are what makes a successful marriage

"I don't want to go today...." 

"You will go. Don't let things like these bring you down" Jungkook says sternly 

Jimin was disappointed that Jungkook didn't try to understand his emotions. 

Jungkook goes with Jimin to his office, and the boy was thankful for that. He didn't want to go to his office alone and see Taemin. 

Jimin's eyes widen when he hears that Mr Kim has already fired Taemin that morning.
