Chapter 40

Me: "Welp that's enough of that."

I got up and started walking away. Someone grabbed my shoulder.

Akali: "Run it back, it's only been one game."

She forced me back down on the floor.

Ahri: "Let's just play another game."

All of them had an intimidating aura sorounding them.

I nervously chuckled

Me: "Okay maybe just one more game."

This game played similarly to the last one with me winning.

I let out a small fake yawn

Me: "Yeah I'm getting tired let's just call it here."

Akali with an expressionless face, put her hand on my shoulder before I could get up.

Akali: "One more."

Kai'sa: "I agree."

Evelynn: "Same here."

Ahri hummed agreeingly

I gulped and reshuffled the cards ok all I have to do is lose this game and I'll be fine.

The game didn't go exactly as planned and I still won. Fuck fuck fuck.

Me: "Ah I think-"

Evelynn: "One more game darling."

I went pale as I saw the look on her face.

Me: "ok."

We played one more game... I won again.

Me: "Bye."

I quickly run out of the living room

Akali: "Get back here!"

I rush and enter Evelynn's room,

Me: "Phew, successful getaway."

The door opened and as soon as it did my heart dropped.

I sit up and no one was there

Evelynn: "Behind you darling~"

I shriek and run out of the room

Me: "Maybe one more game."

I rush into the living room

Akali: "Ah I'd knew you'd come around."

All of them giggled, sending shivers down my spine. 

Evelynn walked over and sat down on the couch next to me. I sat down on the floor again and reshuffled for the last time. We played a good game and I finally lost.

Akali: "Yes! Victory for me!"

Me: "Oh well good game."

I chuckled and collected the cards, I put them back in the box I found them. As I was starting to walk away I hear someone's stomach rumble.

Akali: "I... Am very hungry."

Ahri: "Let's get something to eat."

Riki appeared out of nowhere and yipped in agreement.

Me: "Come over here."

Riki yips and quickly jumps into my arms, I lift her up onto my shoulder and she wraps her body around my neck.

Me: "I'm ready."

Evelynn: "Alright let's go then."

All of us head out and get some late breakfast. Or as normal people call it, lunch.
