P.s. I wrote part 1 a really long time ago, so you might want to reread it if you don't remember much. Its one of the first few chapters in this book 👍

"Well that doesn't really matter does it? Cause in the end... it all hurts just the same."

3 Months Later - Jungkook's Pov

Standing tall with my hands in my pockets, I stare out of the glass wall, peering down at the street below.

People walking quickly down the sidewalk, cars honking their horns at people driving too slow in front of them, kids chasing each other around the small park about a block from here, parents walking back and forth from the food trucks.

Everything is moving.

Everyone is moving forward in some way or another.

A world full of progress and movement, people with places to go and things to see.

The whole world is moving forward, and its like I'm stuck here.

Everyday I wake up, get dressed, go to work, sign documents, and stare out of this window, watching the world go on without me.

And then at the end of the day I stare at the ceiling until my brain forces me asleep, and then I wake up and do it all over again.

Every single day for the last 3 months.

I lean forward slightly, a faint smile growing on my lips when my eyes meet the familiar figure.

I'm at least 100 feet from the ground, but my eyes know her well enough to recognize her from a mile away.

She has just emerged from the little building across the street, a building that she owns, stationed right across from my work place.

She carries a bouquet of pink and yellow tulips in each arm, stopping to kneel down next to the vases outside of her little building. It's an art gallery, but she treats it like a flower shop, purchasing bouquets of flowers every few days to arrange right outside of the front window of the building.

She always said bright colors drew people in, and she surrounded herself in them as much as she could.

I guess that's why the world turned black and white when she left me.

My smile widens a little, teeth showing as she pulls a singular, pink tulip from one of the bouquets and hands it to a little girl walking by with a smile.
