Hermione's POV
"that's just- wow, so he came back through the book but potter stopped him, Draco's house-elf is freed and you have some weird vision power?" Wren recapped the events of yesterday night
It's the last night here before the summer holiday, we were walking to the Slytherin table for the feast
"Yup, I don't know how it works yet, just that it happens when something important or bad happens," I said just as I sat at the table "hi guys"
"hi, what happens when something important or bad happens?" Draco asked, looking at Crabbe disgustingly, he was stuffing food in his mouth while speaking
"my visions, I already told you"
he nodded in recognition "oh yeah. Salazar, Crabbe stop being so gross"
Crabbe immediately stopped talking and ate his food or at least tried eating it politely
"so next year we're just gonna pretend nothing happened then?"
they nodded "of course, that's how it works now, what else would we do?"
I huffed in annoyance "of course"
"can I have your attention please?" McGonagall announced
"Before we begin the feast, let us have a round of applause for professor sprout, Madam Pomphrey who's mandrake juice has been so successfully administered to all who had been petrified" the hall erupted in claps and cheers
"Draco stop being so sour just because they won the cup" I muttered, he was refusing to clap
"also in the light of the recent events, as a school treat all exams have been cancelled" this made Draco start applauding with the rest of us. Everyone stopped clapping as the great hall doors banged open and the familiar giant man stomped inside
"sorry I'm late, the owl tha' delivered my release papers got all lost and confused, some ruddy bird called Errol" there were a few snickers scattered around at that comment "I'd just like to say that if it hadn't been for you harry, and Ron I would- uh I'd still be you-know-where. So I'd- I'd just like to say thanks"
everyone was listening intently when Potter stood up "there's no Hogwarts without you Hagrid"
he then hugged Hagrid, well he's too tall to properly hug so- never mind I'm going off-topic again.
Dumbledore started clapping, I honestly don't know why but everyone followed soon after, Crabbe tried clapping but Draco, being the controlling guy he is made him stop
I decided not to clap because I didn't want to be on his bad side, his bad side is his angry side and his angry side is not the side you wanna be on if you wanna live through Hogwarts with a good social life or even an actual life at all
"where is that music coming from though?"
