my love for you is like a tidal wave

If there was one thing that Liv and Josh loved more than songwriting and binging sappy rom coms, it was going to the beach.

On sunny weekends, they'd get in Josh's white car and drive down to Malibu, a random Taylor Swift song blasting from the aux cord. Josh always let Olivia take control of it, because he just loved her too much.

Of course, they'd always stop at an ice cream shop and get a cone, one spoon for two. It was most often strawberry, but sometimes with vanilla mixed inside.

Then, when they finally got to the beach, they'd just spend the entire day there, having fun.

"You look hot in a bikini," Josh said, admiring Olivia from afar.

She blushed. "You too." It took all of her self control to restrain from jumping on him. They were at a public place, after all.

"So, race you to the water?" she asked.

"Way ahead of ya!" Josh yelled, already heading for the waves. "Last one in is a rotten egg!"

Liv shook her head and went to join him.

She was wading around in the knee-deep water until she felt cold water splash her back. She yelped and turned around to find a smirking Josh.

"You thought I'd leave you alone?"

Liv shook her head and grinned. She splashed him back with another wave that was coming in.

"Oh, it's on!"

All afternoon, the two chased each other around, splashing each other with waves until they were both soaking wet.

Liv knew that he'd caught her when she felt a strong pair of arms lift her up from behind and a pair of lips pressed to her neck.

She spun him around to face her and crashed her lips to his. He reciprocated with just as much passion.

In the evening, Liv and Josh sat on the sand, looking out at the sunset.

Josh noticed that Liv was shivering a little from the cold evening wind.

He, being the gentleman that he was, took off his letterman jacket and put it over her shoulders.

"Won't you get cold?" she asked.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," he said, shrugging it off. "Maybe you'd want to learn how to surf?"

"I'd love that," Liv beamed.

He pressed a kiss to her hair. At that moment, Josh knew that his love for this girl was like a tidal wave.

Love has got me swept away
On a tidal wave, tidal wave

Not me writing pure Jolivia fluff after my bedtime.

After watching a whole marathon of old Bunk'd episodes, I decided to make a chapter based on the song "Tidal Wave."
