(Rewind to when Xavier just woke up)

Xander Jayden Blade's POV

I wanted to say to Ace that I loved him too but I didn't.

I was so stupid.

"A-na? G-g-rey?" Xavier stuttered out, snapping me out of my inner self criticising.

Roman and I gave one another, a look.

"Ana is fine. So is Grey" I said.

Xavier huffed out.

"L-iar" He said.

"Jason. Ana and Grey are both fine" Blaze said, walking back into the room.

"Elij-ah?" Xavier asked.

"He's alright too. Just busy with some work right now" Blaze said.

"W-ant see" Xavier stuttered out.

"See Elijah?" Blaze questioned.

Xavier slowly nodded.

"A-na, G-rey a-lso" He stuttered out.

Blaze nodded.

"Later. You can see all of them. Now, you have to rest first" Blaze said.

"N-O" Xavier stuttered and kind of shouted.

"N-ow. You- y-ou ly-ing. T-hey not ok" Xavier said.

Blaze looked at me for help.

I shrugged softly, asking him with my eyes, what to do.

Thankfully, a doctor came and interrupted our dilemma.

"Hi. I'm doctor Titus Preston. I'm Xavier's doctor" He said.

Once the doctor said his name, my eyes quickly connected with Xavier's eyes.

"No" I mouthed, when I saw a tiny smirk on Xavier's face, all previous signs of distress gone.

I shook my head but Xavier opened his mouth.

"Tit-us. Ti-ts" Xavier said.

We both started laughing crazily.

Xavier's laughter sounded different, kinda strained.

Blaze stared at me with hard eyes but I could see a tiny smile playing on his lips.

Roman was hiding his laughter with coughs.

The doctor looked used to it.

"So, as I was saying, I'm Xavier's doctor" Dr Titus said, interrupting the laughing fest.

"You guys can call me Dr Preston" He said.

"I can tell why you dont use your first name" Roman said, chuckling.

"Ok boys. Enough" Blaze said, putting a full stop to all the laughter.

"Dr Preston, I'm Blaze. The older brother of Xavier. I'm sorry for the immature behaviour from my brothers" Blaze said.

Dr Preston waved it off.

"It's fine. Let's me tell you about Xavier and his recovery process. The possible effects of brain surgery are problems with speech, memory, muscle weakness, balance, vision, coordination, and other functions. These problems may last a short while or they may not go away. Blood clot or bleeding in the brain, seizures,
stroke, coma, infection in the brain, wound, or skull and brain swelling are all possible effects of the surgery" Dr Preston said.

Blaze nodded, listening to the doctor intently.

Xavier was struggling to stay awake and eventually fell back asleep.
