Kimberly's POV

"Kiara I call you later" I say "Can you bring me some Starbucks back too please?" She asks and I nod then get my keys and leave. Today I get to have a meeting with the governor, president, and mayor. They were even nice enough to get me a car to drive me there.

"Hi you must be Kimberly," the president says as he shakes my hand. I'm just amazed that I found he said something "I'm sorry yes I am" I say and he laughed a little then I shook the rest of their hands. The mayor pulled out my chair for me and I thanked him. "So Ms. Kimberly do you care to tell us more of your idea?" The governor asks "Of course, I feel like kids shouldn't be born into a society like it is now.

It'll mess with their mind because if they're born into one community they'll think that it's wrong to want to join a different community. Kids look to their parents and other people's actions and follow that but they're told that they can't be friends with this kid because that kid's parents are in a community that the parents don't like.

Kids and people, in general, should be able to make the decision for themselves, not their parents. Just because you're born in a community doesn't mean that you belong there we're all human." I finished "That's great and all but what if the people don't like it?" The president asks "The thing that woke me up was my sister's death and I don't want everyone to have that same wake-up call. When I started this whole thing I had petitions going around the city to all the schools and jobs." I say as I pull out the papers and gave them to them

"You thought this all out didn't you?" The mayor asks and I nod "I had to make sure people supported the idea." I say "Your a smart girl" "Thank you," I say "Here's what we're going to do, we're going to send around petitions everywhere so we can have an official petition and then we'll discuss more about the idea." The governor says "Thank you so much" I say

"Don't worry and sorry for your loss" they say then I leave and get in the car to meet Mackenzie. "What do you want a burrito, nachos, or a shrimp taco?" She asks me "A burrito," I say "Okay so how was the meeting?" She asks "Amazing it's all coming together Kenzie." I say as I smile to myself "That's good soon we'll have a somewhat better place for kids to grow up in." She says "Baby?" "Yes?" She asks "Thank you," I say

"For what?" "Just for being there for me and protecting me." I say "You're going to make me cry just wait until you get here." She says and I laughed "I'm about to come in," I say "Okay see you in a couple seconds." She says before we hung up and I exited the car and said bye and thank you to the driver. As soon as Mackenzie sees me she pulls me into a kiss "Hey Love" "Hey gorgeous" I say as we sit down and start eating.

"Right now we're on the house hunting step." Mackenzie says showing me her phone "I know and I think I know what house Kiara got her eyes on." I say "Mateo too which means we'll have to work more to pay the monthly mortgage." She says "I took up a tutor job it pays $30 an hour and it's on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays." I say "For one kid?" Mackenzie asks "No about like 6 kids I think it depends on the days." I say and she nods

Now we're done eating and leaving "Can we stop by Starbucks I told Kiara I'll bring her back a drink." I say and she nods "We should get the house to surprise them." Mackenzie says "Yeah and we got to find out how are we going to decorate our room. Or do you want separate rooms?" I asked her and she holds my hand "Are you already trying to kick me out of our future room?" She asks and I laughed

After we got the drinks we picked up Kiara and she brought what I asked her for. "We're going to do a lot of counting," Kiara says "Yeah but can we make a chocolate cake?" I asked Mackenzie "Okay," she says as she parks then we go inside and make the cake then count the money, and split it up. "Okay, here babe," Mackenzie says as she gives me a piece of cake.

"Thank you," I say and she kissed my head. "What are you guys doing?" Madilyn asks "Separating money," Mateo says "This is for the house, food, tuition, and stuff like that." I say and she nods, now me and Mackenzie are in her room. "Your cousin is right your bed is so comfortable," I say and she laughs before putting the heating pad on my stomach.

"Just know if you feel like you don't have enough of something just come to me and I'll help. We're going half on everything and we need good communication to succeed." She tells me "Okay and the same goes for you." I say before kissing her with our tongues fighting for dominance which she won.

Then her phone started ringing but she ignored it then it started ringing again. "Someone's famous," I say "No that's just Kayla," she says before answering. "Excuse me ma'am can you explain why you ignored my call?" She asks "Cause I'm busy" "I don't care you and Kimberly can make out anytime." She says and we laughed then position the camera where she can see both of us then kissed Mackenzie.

"Are y'all for school Monday?" She asks and we groan "You had to mention that." I say and she laughs "Why can't school just be over?" Mackenzie asked, "The end of the year usually goes by fast." Kayla says and we agreed
