Adam Wyatt's POV

Halos pabagsak ko na lamang na pinatong ang bote ng alak na hawak ko. Tiim bagang akong nakatingin sa kawalan. Yukom na yukom ang isang kamao ko. I feel so frustrated. I felt anger. I'm so mad. Not with anyone but in myself.

‘Shit. How could I..’

Mariin ko na lamang na pinikit ang mata ko at uminom muli ng alak. Matapos ay pabagsak ko na naman yung pinatong. Hindi basta mawala-wala ang galit na nararamdaman ko. I don't know myself anymore, that's the truth. Hindi ko alam kung ako pa ba ito...

“Oh, the brokenhearted is drinking again.”

Napatingin na lamang ako kay Caspian na kadadating lamang kasama si Lewis. Umupo sila sa magkabilang gilid ko sabay order ng alak. Iniwas ko lamang ang tingin sa kaniya at uminom muli.

“At this state, you should be playing with women. But you called us. You wouldn't call us if something isn't that matter.” Lewis said and paused. “Ano yun, Adam?” tanong nito.

Nagtiim bagang ako. “I'm not in mood.” I said.

“Huh? Not in mood saan? Sa panggagamit ng babae gabi-gabi?” tanong ni Caspian sakin. “But you've been always not in mood since then eh. Please, enlighten us?” he said.

I glared at him. “Shut up and just drink.” I said at uminom din.

Pinapunta ko lang naman sila dito para samahan ako. Pero wala akong balak sabihin sa kanila kung anong meron sakin ngayon.

“Psh... Who would thought that among us, Adam was the one who would experienced the painful heartbreak? The person who used to keep chilling and relaxing. Just a playboy. But now.. a cold and emotionless guy. Can't even smile. Can't even laugh. Can't even back to his old self. It has been 2 years and I'm still not used to this new kind of Adam.” Lewis suddenly said.

Hindi ako umimik ngunit napatigil na lamang din sa sandaling yun.

“I could feel Adam in some way because I was like him before. And I experienced heartbreak too and so as you, Lewis.. and Adam.” Caspian looked at me. “Who would thought that 2 months would turned you into this for 2 years now?” he asked me.

Hindi ako makaimik. I don't know if they are teasing me. They are making me remember what happened two years ago and that pisses me off. Nakakuyom lang ang kamao ko sa sandaling ito.

“Hey, Adam...” tawag sakin ni Lewis. “Did you love Andrea that much for you to be like this?” he asked.

Hearing her name made my jaw clenched.

“Love turned us in unexpected way.” Caspian said.

“Why are you making me remember those? I shouldn't have called you both.” I said for them to stop mocking me.

“We're not making you remember, Adam. Can't you just go back to your old self? Why do you love her that much? You should have moved on. Dahil sa pagmamahal mo sa kaniya, sobrang nag-iiba ka na. Habang natagal. Hindi lang yun, mas lumala ka pa..” Lewis said.

Napatayo na lamang ako at matapos yun. “If I just know that you would mock me like this, I shouldn't have bothered to call you. I'm going now.” sabi ko at matapos yun ay tinalikuran na sila.

Lumabas na ako ng bar na yun at marahas na huminga. Nagtungo na ako sa kotse ko at sumakay. Dun ay mahigpit na lamang akong napahawak sa manibela. Napatiim bagang na naman ako sa sandaling ito.
