I can make you very pretty

She sat at her desk in complete darkness, the only available light coming from her computer monitor, the only sounds were the clacking of the computer keys as she typed and the soft, constant sound of her shallow breathing. Finally, after she was content with what she had written, she pushed back in her spinning chair and pushed her glasses up.

"Whatchya writing?" She jumped in her seat and looked for the boy behind the scratchy voice but found no one. Suddenly, her thin-framed black glasses were snatched off her face. Now she really couldn't see. The lights turned on suddenly, blinding her even more. "Do I look smart?" The voice asked from behind her. Irritated, she spun around in the general direction of where she thought the person was. "I wouldn't know, because I can't see without my glasses!" The person chuckled and shoved them back on her face. Finally, she could see him, and was quite surprised at what she found. A boy who looked like he was a bit older than her, with a smile cut into his face and eyes wide open. Sucking in a breath, she whispered, "Hello, and welcome to my home." He took a knife out of his pocket and started flipping it in his hand. "I'm Jeff. Jeff the killer." She scooted back in her chair as he came closer. "I take it you're here to release me into paradise or something?" He giggled. "No. I'm here to kill you." She choked out a laugh and stood, pushing him back by the shoulders. "Why do you want to kill me?" He grinned and grabbed her shoulders. "Maybe I won't kill you. I've been wanting a pet of my own." He leaned in so that his red lips touched her ear, nothing romantic about the gesture. "I can make you very, very pretty. Just like me. Wouldn't you like that?" She franticly shook her head, but he put his knife at the left corner of her lips. "Shh. It'll only hurt forever."
