My OC's family

This is my OC and Family backstory. Enjoy! Also, this will be my IRL point of view, not IreneAngel's!

Irene Angel was born to Lauren Blue Angel seven months after her divorce from her husband of three years when he had cheated on her with another woman who had become expectant with his child.

Lauren came from a large family bloodline of nine-tailed foxes, with a rare gene of having angel wings. Issac Blue, however, was a normal human, so it surprised her when her small daughter had gained angel wings and would grow to be a nine-tailed fox.

Subject: Nine-tailed foxes

Nine-tailed foxes, one of the top ten strongest hybrids, are well known for their plush tails. Most nine-tailed foxes gain their ears when they reach the age when their hair reaches their chin. At an older age, mostly around high school, these children will have gained their seventh to ninth tail and will be able to summon their weapon(s) of choice. Nine-tailed fox hybrids also tend to get along with all species and have sensitive spots on their body that, if not cared for properly, can injure the hybrid (i.e. on a tail, that spot has to be carefully maintained). 

Weaknesses: Unlike their animal counterpart, nine-tailed foxes are as fast as a human. When they get very emotional, some will go into a 'protective feral' mode, where they will protect anyone and everyone innocent near them, without hurting the innocents. This mode, however, causes the fox to get reckless and put themselves at risk more. Nine-tailed foxes also tend to have a faster magic consumption, depending on the spell they are casting.

Strengths: Like witches, Nine-tailed foxes have a higher magic level, which they can channel into any spell with a buff, such as a speed buff. Any food that is a favorite of the fox in question will be used and converted into magic energy. When in protective feral mode, their speed increases depending on the distance of the nearest innocent that is in danger.

Weapon(s) of choice: Their weapons mostly contain a staff or a long-distance weapon, but can range from their own tails and ears to anything they have on them. They will sometimes use guns, but that will only depend on the desperation of the situation.

As Irene began going to kindergarten, she had gained her ears, two tails, and tiny, unseen wings. At kindergarten, she met a boy, Colby Blue, a fox a month older than her, when he saved her from two bullies, Nero and Vanessa, with only a scar over his eye from Nero. The thing that drew them together was their eyes, similar, yet reversed and the fact that they were both foxes. They became like siblings, combined at the hip, as the years passed, as their friendship continued, with the addition of a young girl with white and purple hair named Ruby Hamilton.

At age eight, Irene began seeing a little girl who was a darker replica of her, which her mother explained was her dark side.

Subject: Dark sides

Dark sides are the anger part of a person, which will begin appearing at age eight and up to middle age. When the dark side begins appearing, the person of the dark side alone can see them and will get more on edge. Appearances of the dark sides can vary from just the whites of the eyes turning black to the whole color scheme of the person inverting in color.

The dark side will only stop appearing at random when it is accepted or rejected by their original counterpart. When rejected, the person will have bad anger issues (This is my AU. Don't come at me), while the person will have an easier time controlling their anger when they accept their Darkside.
