"Love is being stupid together."

Narrator POV

Kyra stared at the mysterious girl, whom she saw sitting at the royal table. "Hello" she replied, awkwardly fiddling with the door frame behind her back.

"You're so cute." the girl complimented causing little Kyra to steam up. The girl chuckled at her shy nature and stood up from her seat on the bed.

"Im Alexa but you can can me Lexa or Lex for short." Lexa stuck out her well manicured hand for Kyra to shake, she did, hesitantly.

"Its nice to meet you, I'm Kyra." She smiled, she couldn't believe she was making a new friend, she wouldn't be all alone in this huge castle.

"I know." she snickered, "I've been trying to talk to you all night." she sighed and caused Kyra to stiffen.

"Do I know you?" she questioned, her head cocked to the side.

"Oh right! I'm Syfas' sister."

"Sister? He never mentioned a sister." she giggled at how forgetful Syfas could be, if she had a sister she wouldn't stop talking about it.

"That evil mutt! There's so many great achievements of mine to talk about." she boasted and stuck out her chest.

"Hmm, I once fit 10 marshmallows in my mouth, does that count?"

Alexa giggled at the innocent fae before her whilst Kyra just stood there confused.

Was that not an achievement?

"Thats cute. Are you staying here tonight?" she said with a smirk, mischievously wiggling her eyebrows.

"Yes! Syfas' room is so big!"

"Might not be the only thing.." she whispered, loving how the little fairy blushed at anything, however, Kyra wasn't sure she understood.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, nothing you won't find out yourself." she waved her hand in front of her face, dismissing the topic of the conversation. Syfas ego was something she couldn't encapsulate in words. "How about we go shopping tomorrow? You need some new clothes."

"That would be lovely." Kyra beamed, swiftly swaying her arms against the front of her dress.

"Wonderful."

"I'm sorry." Dominic apologised as soon as he stepped foot into his former office. Syfas turned around in acknowledgement of his apology and sighed.

"I know, I forgive you."

"You do?" Dominic replied, surprised. He wasn't expecting his son to forgive him just like that. If someone told him his mate was dead, that person would probably no longer be alive.

"Yes, I know you father, you wouldn't say something like that. I know someone must have raised a serious threat against my rulership, you just wanted to help."

Dominic breathed a sigh of relief, he didn't realise Syfas knew of the threat, he was trying to keep him away from hearing it but hey, rumours spread.
