I stared at the list of exams Ryan had to do tomorrow. He had three tomorrow and two the day after. If he passed them, so much pressure would be released from us both.

Less stress, for both of us.

Spanish: hour and a half. Read and translate a extract of a Spanish document. Write a report on the subject given.

I grimanced. Although the assignment would be easy for me i knew Ryan's spanish was still lacking, i shook my head and tried to think positive. Ryan will be fine.

My eyes scanned the next subject. English.

This is a subject Ryan didn't need tutoring on. He'd brought it up on his own. I wondered idly why his english was so good, but other subjects lacking. Did he find English an easy subject? I shrugged, i'd have to ask his about that sometime.

English: two hours. Write a creative peice. The creative peice will consist of writing one of the following with alternative endings.

Lord of the flies,

Romeo and Juliet,

Or

The Bell Jar.

I nodded remembering when i had to do that.

Although i had different options to write about.

I chose Wuthering Heights. I passed, needless to say. It wasn't hard and Ryan is doing so well in English, i have no doubts he'll be fine.

Finally tomorrow he had maths. The most worrying subject of all.

Maths: Hour and half. A thirty question paper to be completed. Equipment allowed: Calculator, pen, ruler, pencil.

I shook my head. I was so nervous for him.

Friday he had History and Biology.

I handed him back the paper with his exam times on it.

He was sat in my car, biting his lip with worry. I put my hand on his leg comforting him." Ryan, you'll do absolutely fine. I have so much faith in you. If i didn't think you could do this i wouldn't even consider letting Mr Mays put you in for early exams."

He smiled, but it was too forced.

He'd gotten the timetable in the post this morning and had only dicided to show me when i parked the car and refused to drive until he told me what was wrong.

"I guess so." Was his reply.

"Ryan, you could totally ace these exams. Your amazing at English and Spanish is pretty good. Maths, still a bit dodgy but you've done enough to at least get a pass, dont worry, you'll do fine tomorrow."

"You think my English is amazing?"

I nodded. "Your writing it so good." I said honestly. Everytime he asked me to read one of his english reports, i was amazed by how well he could write.

"Thanks... I took an english course in Australia." I stared at him confused as he stared at his hands and a pink tinge found it's way to his cheeks.

"Really?"

He nodded. "There was a community centre close to the house and since i would do anything to stay away from my crazy relatives, i spent most of my time doing courses in the cmmunity center. My favourite was English. My teacher, Miss Taymor figured i had family problems and gave me extra assignments, to give me something to do when i wanted to get away from my Aunt. I loved writing about home. She said i could become an author one day, i wish it were true." He siad and i gaped at him. So much truth and i didn't need to torture it out of him.
