•Flashback To Court•
" I sentence you, Dylan Walker to life in prison without the possibility for a portal. ," The judge announced before picking up the gavel " This court is dismissed. "

My hand shook as I turned the key in the lock before turning the doorknob and pushing the door open. The house was still a mess from the struggle, imagines of what happened flashed before my eyes as I walked down the hall slowly.

" Where are we going? ," I asked the 100th time while drumming my fingers against my legs.
Dylan's deep chuckle filled the car as he came to a stop " We're here now Lex. "
I jumped up and down while turning to him " Really? Can I take thi- "
" No!," Dylan slapped my hands away from my blindfold " Not yet, let me help you out first. "
I sat back in my seat and pouted slightly as I heard a car door open and then close.

I felt my car door open as hands reached out and lifted me out of my seat, my arms wrapped around Dylan's neck as I squealed.
" Dylan! "
He chuckled as he shut my door before turning and walking, the rumble from his chuckle vibrated through me.
After a few minutes, he stops and slowly lets me down, before grabbing my hips and placing his head on my shoulder.
" Are you ready? "
I nodded my head as I brought my hands up to the blindfold " Can I take it off now? "
Instead of answering me, I felt my blindfold falling loose until it no longer blocked my vision.
My eyes rapidly blinked as they adjusted to the sunlight.
Once my vision cleared and I could open my eyes, my mouth hung open while my hand covered it.
I was in complete awe.
" Whose house is this?," I asked as I continued to stare at the house.
It was beautiful, a little white house on the corner of the street. A small pathway led from the street to the front door. Flower beds were filled with white daisies.
" Ours. "
I turned to face Dylan " What? "
He held up a set of keys as his grin widen.
" No way! ," I squealed as I jumped on him " But how? "
" Dad gave me some money for graduation. And I had savings. "
My eyes watered slightly " You didn't have to... "
He grabbed my chin between his fingers " But I wanted to, not just for me. But for you, for us. "

The front door creaked open making me turn around to find Hayden in the doorway.
" Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you... "
I shook my head " It's fine. "
I turned back to the hall, looking up the stairs.
" We don't have to do this right now Lyssa. "
" Yes I do, I want this done sooner rather than later. I don't want to put it off to deal with later. I want this part of my life to be done with already. "
I felt hands rest on my hips, I leaned back into him.

" We're never moving again. ," I signed as I laid dramatically over the couch.
Dylan chuckled as he brought more boxes into the living room "You're the one that wanted to move everything in on one go without taking a break. "
" Hey!," I wined sitting up " I didn't realize how much stuff we had, especially together. "
I stood from the couch as he sat the boxes down, I walked up to him wrapping my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist.
" I love you. ," I said before kissing him.
