Moving On With... Reveals.

"My little baby..."

Her weak, sweet, unstable, almost broken, but full of adoration voice breaks my heart. She doesn't look ready to believe what is really happening, but it's too early and she has just woken up. My skin shivers, overwhelming emotions overflow me and I smile relieved and grateful.

"I'm here now, okay? Both of us are and we need you to forgive us." I tell her in a begging tone and turn my head on my right to look at Aiden, resting my left cheek on her forehead.

The view of him sitting on the chair and crying heavily like a small boy with his face fully hidden in his two palms feels like a sharp knife in my heart, because I know... He is devastated and can't lift his head and look up to our mom. I think that it's the first time I see him in such condition and nothing can help him, not even Violet.

Violet... She is crying, too, but she is happy for us. She was repeating to me that everything would be alright in the end with our mom, but I was scared, I couldn't agree with her, she never stopped though. She is the most optimistic one in our big family, she always was like that. I am glad she is here with us right now, as Aiden needs her, her presence helps him somehow, although he is too confused and overwhelmed and can't realize it. I love how much she supports him, they are lucky for being together and I am grateful that my special Vi is my brother's mate, because he needs her explosive, but innocent and pure reactions.

"Brother..." I whisper concerned, not sure about what to do to help him, and this seems to shake my mom.

She reacts for the first time so much and I pull back worried, but when I see her free left hand moving towards Aiden, whose head is inches away from her bed, I smile emotionally. I can't stand it, look at that woman!

She can barely say three words, she breathes with great efforts, she wants to scream from pain, but nothing can stop her from touching her kids and erasing every shadow and fear they might have.

"I'm sincerely sorry I never protected you! I wasn't there for you. I never tried to think differently about you, I'm an awful son." He mutters through his cries and it happens.

With the last word of his, the top of her thin fingers touch his hair and it comes true like a flash, Aiden takes her hand in both of his and kisses it again and again. He has his head still bended, he denies looking at her or even trying, but a huge weight leaves from my heart and shoulders, because the beginning has been made.

"I'm proud of you and I die for you, baby!" she says touched, addressed to him and Violet sits abruptly on the edge of the bed and smiles to me.

I mimic her and then turn again to my mom. Robert is now standing next to me, obviously emotional and happy for us, and I place another kiss on her forehead while caressing her hair as gently as I can.

"They told us... Albert and Stacy. Mom, I... You shouldn't..." I begin to say unconsciously and she raises her eyebrows, places her right hand above mine and makes me stop.

The love, affection and adoration I see in her eyes put an end in everything, because I now know it for sure. I am not losing her again, I will always have my mom!

"I would do that again, if I had to, but hurting you so much... I tried to run away, I really did, but I failed. I wasn't the mother you deserved. It's my fault! I didn't..."

"NO, IT WASN'T YOURS!" Aiden cuts her off firmly and stands up.

His eyes find hers for the first time and I can't stop myself from admiring their gazes mirroring in each other's. They are so same, it's incredible, special and unique, but what makes it even better, I would say dreamy, is how passionate Aiden became.
