"I'm so glad I chose online for the first semester" Isla mumbled as she wrote down her notes.

"Why did you though?" Sianna asked from beside her.

"Because honestly as much as I act like I don't care, I care about my parents a lot and I'm not ready to leave them for a whole year with only coming home for certain holidays" Isla said truthfully as she sighed.

"Wow" Sia said and Isla shrugged before continuing to write down the notes. "That's the deepest shit I ever heard you say" she added making Isla smile.

"Why did you chose to go online?" Isla asked and Sia bit her lip as she shrugged.

"Because as much as my dad jokes around and seems okay, he isn't. He's never okay. I know that I was just a literal new born when my mother died but I feel like something died along the way in my dad So I don't know I just want to make sure that he is actually okay before I leave him in that quiet house to go across a sea" Sia said and sighed shaking her head.

"I still can't believe you got accepted into a college in freaking England" Isla laughed and Sia smiled nodding her head.

"Yeah but they are okay with me being online for this semester and then I'll go there for the rest of the year" Sia said and Isla nodded.

"I think that none of our parents are truly ready for us to go" Isla mumbled as she looked down at her notebook.

"Probably not but they better be ready by time January comes" Sianna said making Isla laugh and shake her head.

"I'll be back. I'm going to go check on Bella" Isla said before standing up from the table.

She walked upstairs to Isabella's room and opened the door without knocking. "Hey Bel-" Isla paused as she took in the sight of Isabella and Alexander kissing on her bed.

They pulled away from each other and looked at Isla I'm shocked eyes. Isla made a 'mhm' sound from the back of her throat before she nodded her head and left the bedroom quick.

"Lala! Wait" Isabella called after her as she hurried after her sister downstairs.

"What's up" Sia asked when Isla walked back into the room with a stone cold blank expression on her face.

"Nothing just caught Alexander and Isabella making out" She said coldly as she shrugged her shoulders. Isabella walked into the room with a guilty look on her face as she looked at Isla who just went back to doing her work.

"Isla I'm sorry" Isabella said in a soft voice but Isla ignored her.

"Oh damn" Sia said as she looked between the two siblings.

Isabella walked closer to Isla and tried to touch her arm but Isla quickly stopped her by moving away.

"You know what's funny" Isla said before releasing out a humorless laugh. Isabella bit her lip nervously as she played with her fingers.

"I thought we were blood Bells. I mean I thought we were suppose to tell each other everything" Isla said before glaring at her sister who was tearing up.

"We a-are I just d-didn't know how to t-tell you" Isabella stuttered out, a trait she always gets when she is nervous.

"Did you know?" Isla asked Sia who didn't respond only looked away from Isla's cold eyes.

"Wow" Isla mumbled as she shook her head before looking back at her sister.

"Kids We're home" Zyria called out as her and Knox walked into the house. No one replied making Zyria frown and walk further into the house.

"Oh so no one is going to say welcome back mom or I missed you mom" Zyria joked as she walked into the kitchen. She took in the scene before frowning deeply.

"What's going on" Zyria asked as Knox walked up behind her.

"Mom did you know Isabella and Alexander were together" Isla asked her and Zyria paused clearing her throat.

"Yes honey but-"

"Dad did you know?" Isla said cutting Zyria off only to look at her father who nodded his head.

"Wow so everyone knew except me" Isla laughed another humorless laugh as she threw her arms on the air.

"Let me guess Ray knew too?" Isla asked mockingly as she looked at her sister.

"You don't like him Isla I didn't know how you would react like I told y-"

"Oh so you just instead kept it from me and told everyone else but me" Isla asked as she tilted her head to the side. She made another 'mhm' sound before she shrugged standing up from the table.

"It's not like that. I just didn't know how to tell you" Isabella rushed out as she looked at her sister with pleading eyes.

"I don't care about my feelings toward him Isabella what I care about is that you basically lied to me about something very important in your life."

"How long was this going on huh? How long have y'all been talking and doing god knows what" She added as she raised her eyebrow.

"Since before we left" Isabella said and Isla's eyes widened before she shook her head.

"I don't care who you date Isabella. I would have put aside my differences and freaking supported you guys but no I get left out. You know I hate being lied to and you freaking know me more than anyone so you should know I hate secrets" Isla said as the fire of her anger didn't subside.

"Isla-" Isabella cut her sister off by storming past everyone and hurrying out the door. She slammed it behind her and hurried down the steps, walking away.
