Ray stood on the front porch of her dad's place staring at the front door with a nervous look on her face. She raised her hand to knock on the front door but stopped herself in mid air.
Come on you can do this. It's just your father.
Ray sighed and knocked on the door before stuffing her hands in her pockets nervously. She could hear someone walking toward the door but Ray hurried down the porch steps and walked away quickly as she continuously shook her head.
"Ray"

"Ray" Isla said and Ray jumped out of her thoughts looking at Isla who was staring at her with a worried look on her face.
"Yeah? I'm sorry kind of just zoned out a little there" Ray said clearing her throat. Isla frowned and didn't say anything as she continued to stare at Ray.
"Okay so-"
"Ray are you okay?" Isla asked and Ray looked at her nodding her head but Isla didn't believe her.
"No stop lying to me and tell me what's going on with you" Isla said and Ray raised her eyebrow.
"Well last time I checked it's none of your business what's going on with me. I'm not your damn girlfriend Isla" Ray said and Isla frowned before she shook her head.
"Well excuse me for trying to help you. I know you aren't my girlfriend and I damn sure don't want you to be now" Isla said before shaking her head and getting out of the truck.
"No wait Isla shit I ain't mean that" Ray said as she rushed out of the truck and after Isla who rolled her eyes.
"Please I'm sorry" Ray pleaded as she grabbed Isla's arm stopping her from walking. Isla looked at her with a frown plastered on her face as she sighed.
"Look I get that I barely know you but I still consider you a friend. You literally was staring at the steering wheel not blinking then started to breath heavily so I got worried. I just want to know what's going on" Isla mumbled softly and Ray licked her lips nodding.
"I know and one day maybe I'll tell you but right now I can't talk about my problems and shit Isla please believe me when I say that." Ray looked down at her and Isla sighed nodding.
"Just promise when you are ready that you will let it all out" Isla said looking up at her and Ray smiling nodding her head.
"I promise" she said and Isla smiled.
"Now can we continue our date because we been standing outside this restaurant for thirty minutes now and I'm starving" Isla mumbled and Ray laughed nodding. She took Isla's hand and intertwined their hands before walking to the entrance of the restaurant.
"So you lied to me when you said it wasn't going to be a restaurant" Isla said as she smiled but Ray shook her head.
"We just getting food baby and leaving" Ray mumbled before leading Isla to the back toward the kitchen doors.
"Ayo Uncle where you at" Ray said and a man turned around before smiling big. He began to speak in a language Isla did not understand. He hugged Ray who smiled and laughed as she spoke the language back to him.
Isla watched as Ray interacted with her uncle as she leaned against one of the little counters along the kitchen. Isla heard her phone ding and she saw that it was Bella texting her.

"Hey look so my uncle hooked us up with some food. This is the best food on this island you are going to love it" Ray said and Isla looked up to see her smiling as she went back to talking to her uncle in their foreign language.
"Sounds good um thank you" Isla said before looking at Ray's uncle who smiled at her but didn't say anything.
"Come on mamas let's go" Ray said taking the bag of food from her Uncle's hands. Isla waved bye to Ray's uncle while Ray hugged him. They left the restaurant quickly and got back in the truck. Ray put the food in the backseat and started car quickly driving off.
"So now where are we going" Isla asked but Ray didn't tell her as she smirked and shook her head.
"You know you going to be my girlfriend one day" Ray said after a few minutes of silence making Isla look at her in surprise.
"Why do you say that" Isla said and Ray shrugged smiling.
"I just know that I'm going to cuff you up one day and I know that day is coming soon" She responded and Isla smiled.
"Oh really and what makes you so sure that I would say yes" Isla said and Ray smirked glancing at her.
"Because you and I both know that you find me extremely sexy and can't resist me baby" Isla laughed at Ray's response shaking her head.
"You think you know me so well" Isla said and Ray just shrugged before parking the car. Isla looked out the window to see that they were near a cliff edge.
"We are going to have a picnic while you tell me everything about you so I can fall in love with you" Ray said making Isla laugh and get out the car.
Ray took her hand and lead her close to the cliff edge but not close enough for her to fall. She grabbed a blanket and opened it up laying it on the grass.
"It's beautiful up here" Isla commented and Ray nodded in agreement. She laid out all the food and Isla laid out on the blanket still looking at the view of the ocean.
"Now tell me everything" Ray said and Isla smiled looking at her before shrugging as she opened her mouth to tell her.
