Ava's POV

"How about we go to the mansion around 5 am? We can catch Cain before he goes to work." Sabi ni Cayetana.

"I know but we don't know what she's capable of. Maybe she brought her guys with her at our mansion. Especially that I escaped, I'm sure they're searching for me now." Sagot ko.

It's 8pm. Kasalukuyan kaming kumakain ni Cayetana for dinner. Kinuha ko yung spoon at tinikman yung egg soup na niluto nito---

Agad kong nadura yung soup sa sa bowl dahil sa lasa.

"This is so disgusting." Reklamo ko.

"Well that's what I can afford for now. I don't have any stocks of food here." Sagot nito.

Kinuha ko yung tissue at pinunasan yung bibig ko. I'd rather starve than eat this soup. It taste so bad just like my husband's cooking.

"How about we go directly to his office and wait for him?" Tanong nito.

"But we're not sure if he's gonna be there, Cain always have unexpected meeting." Sagot ko.

Cain is not always in the office. He's always busy doing errands but he make sure that he goes  home at exactly 5pm or else he'll be sleeping at a hotel.

"Fuck this is so hard." Reklamo nito.

"Wait, how about I call him and just tell him about this!? So he could pick you up here???" Dagdag pa nito.

"Great and what if that bitch picked up first than he do? I'm sure she's sleeping in our room----"

Napatigil ako sa sinasabi ko.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" galit kong sigaw.

"That bitch is sleeping with my husband!" Dagdag ko pa.

Omg. This is not happening right now. Please tell me I'm wrong. I don't like this feeling.

I started to cry. Hindi naman ako ganito pero bigla akong naging emotional.

"Stop crying." Suway ni Cayetana.

"What if she's using my new Hermes bags or Chanel pearls? .....Those are brand new and I haven't touched those yet." Naiiyak kong sabi.

Lumapit si Cayetana at hinawi yung buhok ko.

"Stop crying and fix your shit together you little brat." Suway nito.

"We need to have a plan. You know, she can use your things all she wants but once you get your hands on her, you're gonna choke her til death using those Chanel pearls of yours."

Napahinto ako sa pagiyak. Pinunasan ko yung luha ko at napangiti kay Cayetana.

"You're right. I'm in a mood to attend a funeral tomorrow. " I said.

Cain's POV

I felt Ava's hands reaching to my chest. She's in deep sleep. I held her hand and slowly removed it. I tried not making any noise, I got up as slowly as I can.

I covered Ava with the comforter. I took my phone and went to the balcony. It's already late but I couldn't sleep well.

There's something about Ava that really changed. I just can't put my finger on it. I noticed that she had changed a lot the moment we got back from our trip.

Cortis is acting as if he doesn't recognize Ava. He's crying a lot when she holds him. Ava is trying hard to make him stop crying when she hold him but that's no use. He'll just stop when I'm the one carrying him or his personal nanny.
