Negotiations

Liz POV

The party was great. My parents and I rekindled. Dean and I are on great terms. We kissed! I walked away from the party into the kitchen to see David,Henry, Luke, and Dean.

"Birthday girl" Luke said opening a beer

"Woman I'm 22" I sat on the counter and took the beer from him before he could drink it.

"Feisty. I like it" Henry said

I took a drink of it.
"Now which one of you thought of this party idea?I know my parents didn't do it."

"It was Dean" David confessed

I looked at Dean and smiled.
"You did all of this for me?"

His cheeks tinted pink. Then he cleared his throat.
"My assistant helped me"

"No you should have seen him. He was out here for nights of one whole week setting everything up himself. We would tell him to relax but he wouldn't. He just wanted to get you back." David said

Dean looked at David like he was going to murder him. I got off the counter and hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you so much. I think this-"

"Lizze!" My mom called me

"I'll be back" I ran towards my mom

Dean POV

"I think this-"

"Lizzie!" Her mom called her over

"Damn it"

"What do you think she was going to say ?"

"She was probably going to let you have sex with her in front of us" David said

We all looked at him.
"What don't act like you don't want that?" He said

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course I want that but not in front of you guys" I said

They all laughed.

The last few guests left and I started putting the garbage from the backyard in the garbage bag.

"Hey"

I turned around to see Liz walking towards me.

"Hi" I said

"You shouldn't be cleaning up. I think I should" she put some of the trash into the bag

"Why would I make you clean this big mess alone?" I said

"Because I've been ignoring your calls and texts. But then you do something amazing for me and then I forgive you." she said guilty

"No it's not like that. I did something terrible to you and you had every right to be upset. This party was my apology and you mean a lot to me way of getting you back"

"So you still like me even though I could be a lot to handle?"

"Yes Elizabeth. But now I think I like you like you." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her close to me

"You do?"

I nodded. "But I need to hear you say it" I said kissing the back of her hand

"Dean, I like you like you too." she laughed

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"You are gorgeous" I said putting my palm on her cheek

She blushed and I leaned in to kiss her. She leaned it and crashed our lips together. I pulled her into me and she laughed.

Then someone cleared their throat. I groaned pulling away and Liz laughed. We turned to see who it was. It was our parents great.

"Mm so, you two don't hate each other's guts" my mom said smiling

"I guess not" Liz's father said

"No we don't hate each other." I said

"We never did" Lizzie said holding my hand and looking at me

We smiled at each other.

"You guys are so cute" Liz's mom said in almost tears

"Mom please do not cry. Your making it bigger than what it is" Liz said walking inside the house

I followed behind her. "Bigger than what it is?" I asked in the kitchen putting my hands in my pockets

"Well Yeah" she said

"I'm curious. What do you think this is between us Liz?" I asked crossing my arms and leaning against the door

"It's two people that like each other I guess."

"That's not what I want" I said

"Then what do you want?" She asked

"You to myself in fact. No Kyle, no other guys, just me and you" I said truthfully

"Well I want you too. No other women, just me and you. Are you willing to do that?" She asked

"Liz I've been willing to do that since the day I told our parents not to call it off."

"Ok so where does that leave us?" She asked

"We are monogamously dating. Just you and I, no one else matters" I said
"Deal?"

I stuck my hand out for her to shake.
She bit her lip as she thought about it and nodded her head.

"Deal" she shook my hand.
