"Harsh.." Maya stood astounded.

Her eyes couldn't believe what she saw....
"Maam" Rithwik shook her arms.
Maya jerked and blinked. She realized it was Rithwik.
Looking at her reddish eyes and petrified state he felt something is wrong...
"Any problem? Are u crying?" Rithwik asked softly. He raised his hands to her cheeks but took back.
"Rithwik take me from here" she breathed out. He wondered at her and looked around.
"Sometime before she was alright... now what made her cry?" He thought as she moved to his bike fiddling her hands.
They left from there. Maya behaved normal like nothing happened the entire day where Rithwik wasn't convinced of her behavior.
He was sure something disturbed her at that particular spot. But he gradually forgot it on work tension...
At office all were busy with a important event gonna held after a week.
One fine evening,
"Woo-hoo! Wickettt!" Rithika shouted jumping from sofa.
"Ahhhh..." Vinay face faded as he slouched on sofa.
"Thatha everything is happening as I said! For sure they are gonna be out for 100 runs" she giggled looking at score board in the TV.
"No ma! They will hit 200 runs for sure... atleast 150..." Vinay dragged seeing the state of his favorite team losing the match.
"Nah thatha! Let's see..." Rithika challenged sitting on sofa.
"Please paati!" Abhi's yellings distracted them.
Abhi came out of the kitchen slowly dragging Hema's hand to the living room.
"Please watch this match making bet with these and leave me" Abhi joined his hands and left to kitchen leaving a huge sigh.
Hema looked at Vinay and showed 👎 with frowning face.
"Tch... this boy.." Vinay muttered.
"What happened? Why is he overreacting?" Rithika asked.
"I just asked him to meet a girl for dinner. Am I asking him to marry her right away? God knows why he is so adamant.." Hema grumply sat on the sofa.
"We asked him to just meet atleast look at the photo. He's not even agreeing for that too.. we even insisted to tell if he has selected her girl. That too he isn't ready. I don't know what he is interested in.." Vinay said.
