As I was doing my regular routine. Then Shira came up to me and hugged me.

I asked, "Is everything okay?"

Shira responded, "I don't know my dad invited one of his alliance to see the prince."

"Oh. I see. You can finally have someone in your life."

"I'm not sure about that."

After a few days has passed Shira was even much closer to me. Then Soto came and saw Shira and I talking.

Soto pulled his sword at me. I back off then Shira told Soto put his sword away.

Soto asked, "Shira why are you talking to Diego? Like you have a crush on him."

Shira responded, "He is like a friend of mine."

Then Shira and Soto started arguing. I decided to stay away from it because I didn't want to be involved.

Not long after the king's arrival came. That they made a banquet. As they started eating with all the royals, but I wasn't invited.

At least I was able to be alone to think. After a while I saw the prince walked towards me.

The prince asked me, "Are you Shira's guardian?"

"Yeah why?"

"Well Shira talks about you a lot."

"Is there a problem?"

"No, I think she..."

The prince's father came and spoke, "Son why you don't go out with your future wife in the gardens."

"Uh Okay."

I had to follow the prince to the princess.

The prince's father spoke, "Why don't you hold her hand son?"

The prince spoke, "I think Shira don't want that."

The prince took Shira for a walk. I had to follow them. Shira seems not interested in the prince instead Shira would look at me.

It felt awkward Shira looking at me instead of the prince. After the walk and night fell.

Shira would spend time with me.

I asked her, "Shira why you were looking at me?"

Then Shira seems to blush and didn't want to respond my question.

I spoke, "Okay you need to go to sleep."

As I going to my position to guard.

Shira spoke, "Wait!"

I turned around and spoke, "Yes?"

"Well... I don't know how to tell you."

I spoke, "Take your time. When ever you are ready to tell me."

I went back my position to guard as I closed the door. I began to feel my heart racing. I began to wonder if Shira has a crush on me.

As the next morning everything is still normal. Then the king and the prince had to leave because they think the relationship won't work.

Which Shira seems to happy to see them leave. Then Shira hugged me and spoke, "I'm glad to spend time with you."

I asked, "Why are you telling me this?"

Shira spoke, "Take off your helmet."

I took off my helmet then Shira kissed me passionately. I was shocked that I was kissed by the princess. Once we broke the kiss.

I spoke, "This isn't right Shira. I'm just your guardian. Plus your father will kill me."

Shira asked, "You don't like me?"

"No I don't like you, but I love you."

Then Shira hugged me tightly. I couldn't believe is happening. Shira and I agreed to be a secret. At least Soto doesn't know.

But then something bad happened to my beloved Shira.
