“That's just Jeongyeon with her friends.” Nayeon told the brunette then went back to whatever she was doing before, which was watching the television.
After their discussion about Mina's bachelorette party, Momo indicated that all of them should spend their afternoon in watching a movie, which was called ‘Bridesmaids’. It was suggested by Jihyo.
“Friends?”
Did that mean that the SMC was with Jeongyeon? Sana thought. Although she wouldn't really mind if they were, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous that the person she was practically simping for was basically less than a kilometer away from her. Should she go down there and say hi? No? That would be weird, right?
Nayeon noticed the look on the brunette's face, “What's up?”
“She wanted to know if Dahyun's with them.” Momo answered for her, shooting a grape in her own mouth.
“Wait, I thought you guys already made up?” Nayeon catechized, lowering the volume of the TV so she could listen properly to Sana's answer.
“That's the point. They already made up and Sana wanted to–”
“Since when did you become my spokesperson?” the brunette blurted out, eyeing the older Japanese. Momo only mocked her then went back to the movie and started talking to Jihyo.
“So? What is it?” the bunny spoke.
Sana didn't know if she should tell the older girl. Would Nayeon hate her for it? She wouldn't. She knew Nayeon and she was basically their number two (since Momo was the number one) shipper.
“I– I'm planning to get Dahyun back.”
Jihyo, whom they thought wasn't listening, started choking on her popcorn then coughed soundly, while Nayeon almost fell on the couch.
“You– are you serious?” Jihyo's motherly instinct kicked it. Not for Sana, but for Dahyun's sake. She knew how bad it was for the latter when the brunette left unannounced. She didn't have anything against Sana though, since she didn't know the reason behind everything.
Sana sighed, “It's just– I think– I know I was falling for her before I left and seeing her now just– it knocked some sense into my head. The feelings– everything. It all came back and hit me like a truck.”
“Do you love her?”
Sana couldn't see who asked since she was looking down, but she thought it was Nayeon. The brunette furrowed her eyebrows as she thought about everything. She knew she felt something for Dahyun that was stronger than infatuation and such. Hell, she wouldn't spend millions of money in relocating her company just so she could stay here, if she didn't. Dahyun made her happy– no. It was more than that. Dahyun made her feel a lot of things. Happiness, sadness, sense of security, jealousy and maybe... Maybe even love. No, not maybe. Love. She loved Dahyun. Upon realizing, Sana felt like a huge weight on her shoulders had been lifted up.
“Yes.” she answered surely, then looked up to meet her friends' eyes, “I love her. I'm in love with Dahyun.”
Momo was shocked, but wasn't surprised. She knew it. Ever since Sana had started talking about Dahyun when she first met her, she knew that the raven haired girl would have a huge role in the younger Japanese's life. Like the love of her life.
“Wow, I did not expected that at all.” Nayeon creased her forehead.
“Me neither.” Jihyo voiced.
“I did.” Momo decided to be extra.
After that conversation, they continued to watch the movie like nothing happened, laughing and joking around that they almost didn't even notice that it was already dark outside, and when they did took notice, Sana immediately fixed herself. Nayeon said that Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu and Dahyun were leaving the basement any minute now.
