Chapter~25

Vanessa's Pov:

“You seriously have some guts to point a gun on my head” I said not even bothered.

“I will pull a trigger as well and become the most feared with your Mafia under my control” He said, and I darkly chuckled.

“You seriously are an idiot. You won't get my Mafia even if you kill me” I said and smirked evilly.

“What do you mean?” He asked but I can see him getting nervous.

“Well, if you somehow kill me, which I highly doubt, All the information of my mafia along with the information of its members and everything will be destroyed. You won't be able to know who worked for me and who didn't.
Plus, You'll have my Mafia members out for your blood because you had asked for war. But, It's only if you get out of here. Alive.” I explained sipping on my juice calmly.

Well, Let me take you an hour back.

I walked out of my car with Luke and Mike on my both side. My face was covered with a black bandana.

The manager was waiting for us at the entrance since I informed him to.

“Welcome Boss. We have Mr. Viktor Smirnov seated in the V.I.P room as you ordered me to if he made any reservation.” The Manager said and I nodded.

The private V.I.P room I told him to reserve is covered with glass walls only making it easy for my snipers to have a clear view.

“Good. Your work is done” I said, and he nodded.

The manager walked us to the room and opened it.

I walked in with Mike and Luke on my side.

“It's a pleasure to finally meet the Tempest Queen.” Viktor, the Russian Mafia leader said standing up.

“I wish I could say the same” I said and didn't shake his hand he took out to shake.

“So, Mr. Smirnov, What is this meeting about?” I said. My bandana was still on.

“We would like to make an ally with you” He said sitting in front of me.

“You do know that I don't do allies?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Well, I hope I can change your mind over the dinner” He said and called the waiter by pressing the bell.

“You can remove your bandana, I won't tell anyone” He said, but I ignored him.

I heard the door to the room open and someone walked in.

“Welcome to the Pearl Restaurant Sir and Ma'am. I hope you're ready to order” The familiar voice spoke, and I turned my face towards his only to get my eyes connected with his blue eyes.

His eyes got wide telling me that he had recognized me.

“I would like to order a non-alcoholic wine and special lasagna” I ordered and my eyes held a look that said don't do anything.

“What about you s-sir?” He asked Viktor and stuttered a little since everyone knew Viktor Smirnov and how he is.

“I would have the same as the lady” He ordered and Lucas nodded and headed out.

“Well, If it is not a problem I would like to go to restroom before the dinner arrives” I asked, but it was clear that I am not asking.

“Of course not. I'll be waiting” Viktor said forcefully.

I got up and left but not before nodding at me two guys.

I walked out and saw Lucas walking ahead. I walked faster and pulled him in the room closest to us. To my luck, it was empty.

“Wha-” Lucas was about to scream, but I stopped him by putting my hand on his mouth.

“Shhh! It's me” I whispered and remove my hand.

“Holy human! You scared me” He whispered shouted.

“Sorry.” I said.

“What in tarnation are you doing with Viktor Smirnov? Do you know how dangerous he is?” He yelled in frustrating and worry.

“I don't know how to answer that, but I told you Lucas, I do bad things and I do them really well. But what are you doing here?” I asked stressed out.

“I saw a poster that they are hiring waiters and I lost my another job, so I applied.” He said.

“Little Dove, That's fine, but you're not serving me and Viktor.” I whispered.

“But I'm the only waiter available and I can't give my work to someone else.” He argued.

“Little Dove, I'm asking you to do this for your own good!” I groaned.

“Why do you not want me to serve? Are you on a date with him? Is this why you didn't text me or anything for 2 days? I knew it! Why would a girl like you want to be with-” I cut him off with a hard kiss on his lips. He was shocked for a moment but kissed back.

“You little dove look really cute when jealous, but I'm not on a date with him. I will tell you why I didn't contact you later. I will tell you who I'm, and then you will decide if you still want to be with me” I whispered against his lip and pecked him.

“I'm leaving but make sure you do something about your little friend down there before leaving” I smirked and left.

I fixed my lipstick and my bandana before I went back to the meeting.

“Well, glad to have you back”

“So, Tempest Queen. I would like it if you would put some interest in selling girls and boys with us?” He asked.

“Are you dumb or are you dumb? If you know about me, you are bound to know I'm against selling little girls and boys.” I said with a raised eyebrow.

“You won't be interested even if it profits you with millions?” He asked again.

“Well, If this is what you were trying to propose then I better leave” I said and at the same time the door open with Lucas and one other waiter carrying our orders. They placed it on the table, but before they can leave the door was closed by Viktor's man.

“I'm afraid you can't leave” Viktor said and points a gun at me.

I looked at Lucas and the other waiter, both were standing near the gate frozen, and I sighed.

“You seriously have some guts to point a gun on my head” I said not even bothered.
