No. Being honest is must especially now that they were getting married. So Mina sighed then looked at Chaeyoung ‘straight’ in the eye.
“Promise me you won't be mad?”
“I'm hungover and Chou Tzuyu ruined my morning. I'm already mad.” the cub blurted out as Dahyun remained silent.
Mina bit her lower lip nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck, chuckling a little bit. “Just promise me.”
Chaeyoung, who had been anticipating whatever her fiancé was about to say, rolled her eyes. “Fine. I promise.”
Dahyun felt like she needed to leave since the atmosphere was really tense, especially by the way Mina was staring at Chaeyoung nervously. So she stood up from her seat, leaving her food then walked out of the kitchen to talk with Tzuyu.
“Dahyun! Where are you going?” Chaeyoung yelled from the kitchen.
“I am going to sit next to Tzuyu.” Dahyun answered the same tone as Chaeyoung's. “I can't– I can't handle the tension between you and Mina unnie.”
Chaeyoung glanced at Mina then back to an empty space. “But don't you wanna know who took care of you last night?” she shouted, wishing that the raven haired girl had heard her.
The cub didn't hear any response, which she thought was a good thing because she heard Dahyun's small footsteps coming towards the kitchen. “I do. But please stop being scary.”
“I'm not scary?”
“Yes you are.”
“No, I'm no–”
“You are. Stop.”
“I am not sc–”
“It was Sana!” Mina announced, interrupting the two.
Chaeyoung's face remained expressionless as she moved her gaze from Dahyun to Mina. She was looking at her blankly which really scared the Japanese. Mina swallowed a lump in her throat, her heart beating rapidly from being nervous.
Dahyun ruffled her hair. “You– you did not need to shout. That was very loud.” she broke the silence.
“Who?” Chaeyoung questioned, furrowing her brows as she stared at Mina.
“Sana. Minatozaki Sana.” Mina repeated, her voice was more calm this time. “And I may or may not have invited her to be one my bridesmaids at our wedding.” Mina blurted out each words quickly, making her sound like a rapper.
Chaeyoung inhaled then blinked twice at her fiance. Did she heard that right? She wasn't angry at all since Dahyun had mentioned that the thing between her and Sana were going ‘fine’. She was just trying to process. “Hm?”
Dahyun stared at the two innocently, unaware of the tension that they were giving out since she was still trying to remember everything that happened last night. She wasn't embarrassed that Sana was the one who took care of her since she couldn't recall anything anyway. So she paid it no mind and focused on the two instead.
“I invited her to our wedding. As a bridesmaid.” Mina murmured in a small voice as she looked down. That was it. She was sure that she was going to die any minute now.
But instead of being mad, or yelling, Chaeyoung pursed her lips before chuckling as she hugged Mina who looked really scared. “Why do you look so terrified?”
Mina sighed in relief loudly as she let her fiancé pull her in an embrace. “You're not acting nice all of a sudden so you wouldn't be a prime suspect when you kill me in my sleep, right?”
