I want to keep this chapter a bit shorter since there are a few TW.

The boys joined the great hall competition the next morning, everyone seemed to be whispering and pointing at the Gryffindor table. The boys didn't have a clue who exactly they were pointing at but it was definitely one of the Gryffindors. The second thing they noticed was their group being significantly smaller. Only non-head-boy prewett and the gryffindor girls were sat at the table when they approached,

'Where the hell is everyone?' Sirius asked, jumped in his seat next to Marlene. This was the third thing they noticed. LIly had her head in her arms and did not bear looking at anyone, 'what's up with ginger?'

'Rumours are a bitch,' she murmured not moving her head as Alice pat her back,

'The other girls are being a bitch as well,' Marlene added,

'Don't tell me your brother is too?' James asked looking at Gideon as he shook his head,

'No no. Him and Frank are in a very-important meeting apparently,' Gideon replied doing jazz hands as he said very-important,

'About?' James asked as Lily sat up,

'For god sake,' lily said as Marlene cast a muffliato, 'Avery did a little more than just attack me. And since his getting expelled he decided to tell everyone that i asked for it which i most definitely did not. However i am now getting called a slut by everyone who even looks in my direction therefore the two of them have gone to get it sorted even though i practically begged them not to, is that okay with you all or are you going to continue with the third degree?' she snapped as gideon put a comforting arm around her and rubbed her back in a brotherly-nature. The three boys knew not to ask anymore questions on the matter and the entire group were looking uneasily at each other, peter however didn't get the memo,

'Is he going Azkaban for what he did?' peter asked as Sirius jabbed him in the ribs,

'There will likely be a trial but I highly doubt he will,' lily replied as James poured her a drink,

'If he dont go azkaban i will be in azkaban for murdering him and everyone who got in the way of him going there,' sirius murmured as marlene pointed,

'Count me in,' Marlene added as lily slumped her head back down,

The rest of the day went very similar, even the other-year Gryffindors were being off with her. Everyone in the school except the two girls, marauders, frank, Prewetts and florean were avoiding her. Every class she heard at least twice people snickering and talking about her and she didn't last two minutes in the hallways without someone giving a dirty look or hushed comment. She highly suspected if she wasn't being walked around by the marauders, the comments wouldn't have been so hushed. It all went on for a few days, not even the girls talking to her, which made her feel worse. Fortunately, it started getting better. As of herbology revision, 5th period that Friday
