-I'm a bit late but happy new year!!-

(Also this part takes place right after William sent (y/n) back to her time)

William just stared at the pit.

After he felt (y/n) start to disappear from his grasp, he knew she was back.
He stood up and stayed there for a few minutes.

"I did this for (y/n)," William repeated.

Once he had stopped repeating the same words, he looked around the room, making sure that there was nobody.

William put his hands on his face and went down on his knees.

"Oh god, I fucked up. I didn't even get the chance to tell her."

He got back up and stared at the pit again.

"I need to tell Henry that we should block off the ball pit, it is not a good idea to have it out if it's possible to time travel through it," William said out loud.

He left the small room and went into the main area.

"Did you kill her Afton?"

"Of course not, stupid child. I brought her back to her time."

Then the voice scoffed.

"Really? You doing something good and not killing her? Ha, don't make me laugh!"

William smirked.

"Well, I guess you haven't properly met (y/n). She's different in many, many ways. I can't explain how I feel about her."

"Oooooo Mr. Afton is in LOVE!!!" A different voice spoke.

"Why you little. You know what I'm not even going to listen to what you 5 little brats have to say."

"Actually it's 6-"

"Well, Charlie there is probably more he's killed."

"Well you ain't wrong." He said.

"Now goodbye you little shits!"

William ran out of the pizzeria.
He got in his car and drove home feeling more cold and dead than he has ever felt.

"I did this for (y/n), she is better off not being around me."

Once William got home he went inside and grabbed a beer from the fridge.

"Hey dad I've been meaning to ask but where is (y/n)?
You told me that you left her with Henry for a bit but it's been a few hours and she isn't back yet." Mike asked from the couch.

"She's gone now, Mike."

Mike turned his head to face his father.

"Dad, what do you mean?"

Then his eyes widened.

"You fucking bastard! You killed her!" Mike screamed.

William popped open the beer cap and took a long sip.

"Michael Afton do not raise your voice at me! I didn't kill her I sent her back to her time."

Mike got up from the couch.

"You mean she's gone like gone, gone?"

William nodded.
"The best thing to do is to forget about her and move on."

"How are you so calm about this!? Didn't you tell me that you liked her-"

"I suggest you shut your mouth before I do something bad to you Mike."

Mike looked down at the ground in anger.

"I can't believe this! Your the worst dad ever!"

"I didn't even get to say goodbye to her! I'll be up in my room."

Mike stormed up the stairs and into his room.

William sat on the couch and took another large sip of the crappy beer.

"Oh god, my life is a huge mess."

(Back to the present time.)

I drove home feeling horrible.
I didn't think I could do that much damage to anyone.

Once I got home I sat down in the kitchen.

"(Y/n) is that you? Why are you home so early?"

I glanced over and saw my mom exiting the living room.

"Hey, mom so I kinda got suspended for 3 days."

She looked at me shocked.

"What? But why?"

I looked away.
"I brutally beat up Stacy Evans."

Her face settled and she smiled.

"Oh she's a bitch and so his her mom so good job for doing that but you shouldn't do stuff like that."

"Yeah I know I just don't know what came over me."

"I can tell you are stressed about the whole situation. How about you go take a nice warm bath to clear your mind?" She suggested.

"Okay thanks, mom."

I got up and walked into my bathroom.
I started up the water.

As I waited for it to fill up I looked in the mirror.

"I just need to forget William, I need to clear my mind from him."

"How hard can that be?"

Once the tub was all filled up I took all my clothes off and got in.
The bath was at the perfect temperature.

I had added some bubbles to it cause you can't have a bath without bubbles.

It was quite soothing and peaceful without any distractions.
I quivered at the word 'distraction' it reminded me of that dream I had.

That was the worst nightmare I've ever had although it did distract me from other things.

Then it clicked.

Distractions.
That's it.

The way to forget about what happened is a distraction that will keep me occupied long enough to forget about it.

I knew exactly what the perfect distraction would be.
I need to focus on my studies to hopefully get into a good college or university.
I need to focus on my health and make sure I get a good night's sleep.

Now all I have to do is to clear my mind.

'Clear my mind'
'Clear my mind'
'Clear my mind'

Clear

My

Mind...........
