Secrets of the Blood Fog

Chapter 4: False salvation

Ian was gone.

Will was affected the most from it.

Will was closer to Ian than anyone else but everyone was saddened from the sudden loss of the man that warned them about the fog.

They waited an hour until they saw an island with a science facility in the distance.

"What is that?"Zane asked.

"That is where you're staying."A man said.

"Are our families there?" Phil asked.

"You will see after you've been tested."The Same man said.

Robert gave looks to Zane and Phil.

They arrived at the docks with 3 jet skis nearby.

They were lead into the entrance and met with
a young man.

It was Dallas and he was going to take them to their suite.

"Follow me please."Dallas said politely.

The 6 remaining hotel dwellers followed the man to a room with 6 beds and a public toilet.

It had bars like a jail cell and there were other ones nearby but with no patrons.

"What the hell is this?" Zane asked.

"Don't worry,It's only temporary.I'll need all of you to write your first and last names on this paper."Dallas said locking the door awkwardly.

And they did.

Robert Ellison
William Turner
Phillip Vahnn
Zane Hodges
Benjamin Phelps
Shawn Hayes

Robert knew all of their last names except Will's.

Turner.

Will of course didn't know any of theirs before.

"Nice last names,"Will said throwing himself onto one of the twin beds.

"I don't know about this you guys." Phil said cautiously.

"This seems wrong."Shawn said also claiming a bed next to Will.

"Can we please wait it out?We just got here!" Robert said impatiently.

"Fine.We can wait." Phil said.
"I call that bed farthest away from the door."

Everyone else claimed beds with Robert picking the closest and Zane sleeping next to him and Ben slept in-between Phil and Shawn.

They slept off the pain of loosing Ian.

Ian was so close to surviving but he saved someone instead.

Ian was more brave than anyone gave him credit for.

After thinking about Ian,They all fell asleep one by one.
