AMBER P.O.V. –

“Wake uuuuup my love.”

I whipped the blinds open and the sun poured in.

Aug turned his head away from the window, while he was asleep on his stomach.

“Get up sleepy head.” I hit his flat butt, that was covered by the sheets.

“Close the blinds.” He said groggily.

“Nope. Nope. Get up. We got a full day of adventure ahead.” I sat on his back and laid down on top of him, where my head was on top of his.

“Get up sleepy head.” I played with his curls, twirling his hair around my finger.

I was purposely bothering him like he does me every morning.

He just laid there. I stuck my finger in my mouth to dampen it, then put it in his ear.

“Wet Willy!” I giggled like a child.

“Amb.” He covered his ear and kept his eyes closed.

“Wake up.” I kissed his cheek.

I got up on the bed and jumped up and down on it, like a little kid.

“Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up.”

“Amb you testing me.” He said annoyed as he bounced up and down from my jumping.

I got the pillow that was on my side of the bed and hit him upside the head.

“Get up August.”

“Amber!” He yelled.

“Is that supposed to scare me? Get up!” I hit him upside his head again and laughed.

He caught me off guard by grabbing me by my ankle making me fall on the bed.

“Quit playing.” He turned the other way and tried to go back to sleep.

“We got an appointment to go Spelunking.”  I hit him again with the pillow.

He snatched it from me and hit me with it.

“August.” I held my hands out laughing trying to get it back.

“Nah you want to play.” He hit me with it again.

I ran around the room to the other side of the bed to get another pillow and I hit him back.

Our grown asses were having a pillow fight in this damn hotel.

“August stop.” I screamed and jumped on the bed to get away from him.

He jumped up on it and we were wrestling standing up on the bed. All of sudden the bed fell to the floor, and we fell down with it.

“Oh shit.” We looked at each other.

“Did it break?” I looked at him.

He got off the bed and looked at it.

“They gon make you pay for this.”

“You jumped up on it too.”

“That’s why you can’t take black people nowhere.” He said yawning and stretching.

“Really August?” I got off the bed and looked at it.

It was indeed broken.

“I told you to stop playing.” August said closing the blinds.

There was a knock at the door. We both looked at each other.

“Uh who is it?” I asked.

“Housekeeping.” A woman’s voice on the other side said.
