Auggie in the m/m. Ignore the happy birthday stuff lol. Auggie is turning four soon, just not in this chapter.

August POV-

"Pop-pop when mommy coming?" Auggie climbed up in my bed.

I was laying down watching television. Amber was working late. She assured me it wasn't anything strenuous. Just making up for the mini vacation we had.

Sata spent the night over Cha's house. Kay had a mini spa party. I thought Sata was too young by Cha insisted. I gave in.

"Later tonight Auggie."

"Oh man." He pouted.

"Oh man? That's how you treat your father?"

"You boring." He shrugged.

"I'm boring?" I slightly chuckled.

"Mm-hm." He shook his head playing with his feet.

"How am I boring?"

He shrugged. "I just want mommy. She fun."

"She fun? What she do I don't do?"

"I'ono. She...she tell me funny jokes."

"Pop-pop got funny jokes."

"What?" He cheesed in my face. Just waiting for my jokes.

"You know Pop-pop was going to be a comedian."

"Wats dat?"

"They tell jokes for a living."

"But you uh dentist."

"I know. But I used to be a comedian."

"Where?"

"All over the world."

"The whole world?" He opened his arms.

"Yup. I was good too."

"Why you no do it no more?"

"I had you and Sata. You wanna hear my jokes?"

"Yeah." He put his finger in his mouth and smiled. "They betta be good."

"Trust me they are." I sat up and rubbed my hands together.

"Okay. What did Mr. And Mrs. Hamburger name their daughter?"

"I'ono." He shrugged.

"Patty." I laughed.

He looked at me unamused.

"You get it hamburger Patty." I tried to explain.

"Can we call mommy?" He scratched his head.

"You didn't laugh at my joke A3."

"I no get it."

"Okay listen to this one. What did the icicle say to the other icicle before leaving?"

He shrugged.

"Bi-cycle."

"I want mommy." He plopped back on the bed sighing, getting restless.

"You hurting my feelings Auggie. You don't love me like you love mommy."

" uh-huh."

"You don't show me no love." I folded my arms and pouted.

He laughed and tried to give me a hug.

"Nah. Keep it." I slightly pushed him away.

"Why you be mean Pop-pop?"
