****Octavian's mother in the m/m****

Oh tell me why Trav girlfriend wrote #bootydoo as a hashtag!!! Like really? Trav calls Sata that in my story lol

AMBER P.O.V. –

“Octavian you don’t have to do that.” I looked over at him setting the table, while I finished up cooking.

“It’s the least I could do for you allowing me to eat here Mrs. Alsina.”

He said putting the plates and forks on the able. In the correct spots, might I add. Most adults don’t know how to properly set a table.

“Aww you’re such a sweetheart.” I put the food on the table, then hugged and kissed his forehead.

“Mrs. Alsina?”

“Yes dear?” I said getting the soda out the fridge.

“Can you teach me how to cook?”

“Sure if you want to learn.” I put the soda on the table.

“I want to cook for Sata and my mother.”

“Aww I’m pretty sure they would love that.” I smiled.

“Especially my mom. She’s always sad. I want to make her happy.”

He finished setting the table.

“Why is she sad baby?”

“My dad left us with no money, so we’ve been living in our car. Is there anything else you would like me to do?”

“Uh no honey. You just sit down and enjoy yourself.” I patted his shoulder.

“Might of fact can you go get Sata and Auggie and tell them to come down and eat.”

He shook his head then ran out the kitchen.

My heart really dropped for him. He had such a sweet spirit and he was experiencing so much heartbreak. He reminded me a lot of Nate.

I couldn’t fathom why his mother would be so cruel to him. I mean I understood she was going through it, but that was still no reason to treat him such a way.  And it was obvious, despite her cruelty, he loved her very much.

It was sorta like Nate. Despite his dad been an absolute asshole to him, he respected him. That type of love was hard for me to understand.

But I suppose it was like Mama Shelia and Aug. If you’re willing to work on it like they did despite the mess, you can end up having a beautiful relationship in the end. But that’s only if the parent is willing to actually work on it. Nate’s dad didn’t want to change.

I needed to talk with his mother before I went to Children and Family Services. I really didn’t want him caught up in the system so young. Sometimes the foster care system can be worse off, than the dysfunction you came from. And I didn’t want that for him. But then again, I didn’t want him going back to an abusive situation either.

I had gone to pick them up from school and we waited around for his mother, but she never came so I took him home with me.

I heard the front door open and by the footsteps I knew it was Big Aug.

“Hey babe.” I said cleaning off the stove.

“Hey.” He said tiredly pecking my lips and sighing.

“What’s wrong?”

“Just tired. Got a lot on my mind.” He sat on a bar stool that was in front of our kitchen island.
