Amber P.O.V.-

"Auggie you got to take this so you can get better my love."

I had took my baby to the doctor and sure enough he had an ear infection. The doctor prescribed him antibiotics and he was giving me the hardest time.

I had gotten him to eat food but he wasn't haven't it with the medicine. He was in my bed and he put the pillow over his head trying to hide.

"August."

"Me no want that." He said under the pillow.

"Mommy hates medicine too baby but if you want your ear to stop hurting and get better you need it."

"I don't like circle things." He was talking about the pills.

"It goes fast I promise sweetheart." I removed the pillow.

He poked his lip out like he was going to cry.

"Ah-ah don't you start."

"Me no want it mommy." He whined.

"It takes two seconds baby. One gulp of water. One pill. It's done."

"Its nasty."

"You don't even taste it A3. Look at mommy take her vitamins." I got my vitamins out the drawer. I popped one into my hand.

"See mommy gonna put this on her tongue." I put the vitamin on my tongue.

"And mommy gonna take a big gulp of water like a fish." I drank a big gulp of water and swallowed it. "See." I showed him my empty tongue.

"You look like a doggy." He giggled.

"Look like a doggy with mommy."

"Uh-uh." He shook his head no.

"You see Pop-pop take his pills every morning."

"So." He put his stinky feet in my face.

I tickled them.

"Auggie you gon make mommy cry." I gave a sad face.

"Why ?" He sat up concerned.

"Cause if you don't take your pill they're gonna have to chop your ear off."

He gave a big gasp.

"Both my ears?" His eyes were wide scared.

"If it spreads."

"How me gon hear?"

"You won't."

He started crying hysterically. "Me no want them to chop my ears off."

He cried in my chest.

"Well take the pill. Don't bite it do a big gulp."

I put the pill on his tongue and gave him the bottle of water.

He took a big gulp. But he bit down on the pill rather than swallowed it. He scrunched his face up disgusted chewing on it.

"You were supposed to swallow it, not bite it Auggie." I gave him more water.

He swallowed it all.

"They still chop off my ear?"

"Not if you keep taking your medicine. I'm proud of you. Give me a kiss."
He gave me a kiss.

"This is for being a big boy." I reached in my night stand and gave him his favorite life savor gummies.

"Love you." I told him.
