**** Auggie and shanola in m/m

Amber POV-

"Mommyyyyyyy!!!!!!" Auggie ran to me with a huge smile on his face as my mother opened the door for me.

"Hey mommy's favorite man." I picked him up and kissed all over his face he giggled.

"I missed you mommy."

"Missed me?" I went into my mother's living room and sat on the couch with Auggie on my lap.

"Mm-hmm. I didn't see you when I woke up."

"Mommy had to be at work early."

"But I...I always see you. Every morning."

"My has a new work schedule sweetheart." I picked some lint out his hair.

"I don't like it."

"Why Auggie?"

"If you go to work early you can't make me breakfast."

"Pop-pop makes sure you guys have food."

"But then you don't kiss me goodbye. You never do that." He pouted and scrunched his face up to cry.

"Ahh shut up." My mother rolled her eyes and came and sat on the couch next to us.

Auggie cried into my chest.

"Auggie stop." I looked at him.

He sniffed and wiped eyes.

"Mommy I don't want you to work. I want you to pick me up from school like always." Auggie whined playing with my necklace.

"Grandma has to do it for right now."

"Nooooo." He whined and shook his head.

"Amber get him outta my house. He been crying all day."

"Ma leave him alone. It's an adjustment for everybody." I kissed his forehead. "We'll work through it. Okay Auggie?"

"No." He huffed.

I rolled my eyes and sat back on the couch. Auggie kept his head on my chest.

"How was it?" My mother asked.

"It was okay. This lawyer in the office giving me a hard time though."

"Male or female?"

"Man."

"Alright. Last lawyer gave you a hard time you married." She got up. "Sata and O bring y'all tails in here so you can go."

"Mama don't even start. I'm not checking for anyone but my husband."

"I'm just saying. Everywhere you work some man attaches himself to you. Im Surprised no one was checking for you at Emory while you were teaching."

Sata and O came running in the living room playing. O was chasing after Sata.

"Now y'all know I don't allow no running. Especially in my living room."

"I told O to stop chasing me." Sata said and came and sat by me.

"Mommy you didn't thank us for the card and candy. It was my idea." Sata folded her arms and pouted.

"Thank you babies. Even for all the candy y'all ate."

"That was O, Auggie and Daddy. I told them don't do it."

"Auggie you ate mommy candy?" I looked at him.

"Just an itty bitty one."

"An itty bitty one? And O how you gon eat my candy too?"

"Uncle Aug said you wouldn't notice."
