In English today, when we were practicing for our plays-

Me: *reciting lines* Hey! Is that a snake?!

Friend: Sound scared!

Me: I'm trying!

Friend: Do it again!

Me: *trying again, but failing because I'm a horrible actor* Hey! Is that a snake?!

Friend: Ugh! No! Make it sound real!

Me: I can't! I'm not an actor!

Friend: How can I make you sound scared?

Me: I don't know.

Friend: I got it!

Me: What?

Friend: Ok, imagine this and read your line while thinking of it. Harry Potter dies.

Me: *reading line and actually sounding scared* HEY!! IS THAT A SNAKE?!?!

Friend: Perfect.
