"soooo taking it slow huh?" ellie giggly whispered in paytons ear.

payton turned to ellie, the two were laying in their fort in ellie's room. ellie has her head on paytons shoulder and was very comfortable.

"mhm hm, yep"

payton suddenly opened his eyes and stared at ellie, and sat up.

"i mean, only if you want to, if you want to do something else then that's totally fine" he stumbled across his words.

"no, you read my thoughts" ellie laughed, "i wanted to take it slow as well"

"good"

payton kissed her temple and settled down again to rest.

ellie looked fondly at the boy beside her. she had everything she wanted, payton liked her back, the rumours had stopped for a bit surprisingly and she had her best friends with her.

dreams do come true.

••••••

it was currently three months later from that day. payton and ellie has gotten together seventeen days later and have been so happy together since. they both had everything they could've wished for.

payton and ellie has just broken the news to the fans. most of them took it well, but, you always have those people.

#pellie was now a trending hashtag and the two lovers absolutely adored going through the edits. the people who made them were amazing.

of course payton still had those girls all over him, but ellie had complete faith and trust in her boyfriend. she knows payton would never do that. and payton thinks the same about ellie.

"this is like a happily ever after isnt it" mumbled payton, as him and el cuddled together on the couch in paytons house.

"yeah...."

"wait, what's wrong" payton had let go off ellie's waist and now had his full attention on her odd attitude.

"ok payt i have something to tell you, and promise me something"

"what?" payton had grew anxious now.

"don't be mad"

"i promise"

"pinky promise?" she said as she extended her pinky finger out to payton who giggled a little bit and linked it with his own. a form of the promise.

"well my mum has been offered a job and it's in cali" she spoke quickly.

paytons facial expressions instantly faded and his eyes grew hurt.

"how long have you know for" he said blankly.

"two weeks" muttered el, guilty.

"why didn't you tell me, i mean yeah it's bad, i wish i could be able to see you nearly every day, but, we can do long distance right?!" payton gave his girlfriend and hopeful smile.

"payton" and ellie shook her head sadly.

"what?" this time payton sounded hurt.

"i just can't do long distance"

"why ellie, long distance is possible if the people in the relationship have full faith and trust in each other, i have 100% both things for you" he whispered the end bit, now crying freely.

"i know, and i have full trust in you" she voiced the last bit quickly, making sure payton knew that wasn't the problem. "i just.... can't" she was searching for a better reason to use but considering the circumstances couldn't find a better substitute.

"so? it's over?"

ellie didn't want to admit it. she didn't want to break up with payt. he was one of the best things that ever happened to her.

"yes"

"one more last kiss"

ellie nodded her head eagerly at payton's awkward question but agreed. there were still feelings there. lots of them.

as payton leaned in and softly kissed ellie's lips. that triggered ellie's emotions and now she found herself crying along with payton.

ellie kissed back. this kiss hurted.

it was their last.

well, now ellie can say. she officially dated payton moormeier.

dated.

past tense.
