"Bloody fucking hell," Eliza shouted as she shot backward, her back thudding against the mahogany bookcase that was positioned behind her. She paused a moment, outstretching her arms and placing them softly against the bookcase. She knew it wouldn't have prevented the case from falling, but she hadn't known if it was screwed to the wall or not.

"Are you okay?" Reid asked rushing in. Unbeknownst to Eliza, he'd been waiting outside her door, working up the courage to enter.

"Fine," she groaned from the floor. "Stubborn drawer I guess." She got up, brushing her self off as she did. "What can I help you with?"

"Oh..." Reid looked slightly taken aback. "Umm...nothing."

"Nothing?" Eliza raises an eyebrow. "You've been pacing that hallway for twenty minutes for nothing?"

"You noticed that?" He looked at her, timidly. She smiled.

"God, you're adorable," she chuckled.

"What?" He asked, thinking he'd misheard her.

"What?" She responded, eyes wide. There was a moment of silence between the two.

"I...uh...I wanted to check in on you," Reid finally spoke. "I know how cutthroat it is to apply to the BAU, and that international moves probably aren't the easiest thing to deal with."

"Oh, it's not all the difficult. It's not like there's much family to miss, we're rather estranged especially as of late." She shook her head softly, then looked to him, a small smile on her face. "But thank you for thinking of me."

"Elizabeth!" Someone called. It was Morgan, he too had been looking for the new agent. "Looks like it's a party in here!" He jaunted as he walked into the office.

"Derek," she replied politely.

"Please, call me Morgan." He smiled his devilish smile. "I know you've already met most of us, but we should probably get reacquainted."

"Reacquainted?" Eliza asked, an eyebrow raised.

"Oh, you know, grab drinks at a nearby bar, get to know one another," he replied casually. Reid felt his face flush. Morgan has the courage to do what he was afraid of.

"I believe we have different definitions of getting reacquainted," she smirked, placing finger quotes and emphasis on reacquainted. "Besides, I've got loads of work, and this damned drawer won't open." She was slightly frustrated but was doing exceptionally well at not showing it or placing it in her voice.

"I could help you open it," Morgan suggested.

"I don't need any help, but thank you. I think the both of you should leave, I've got loads of work." Eliza looked towards Reid as she spoke, a silent apology between their eyes. Secretly, she wished he'd appeared earlier. That they'd gotten to talking before Morgan had arrived, and thus the muscular man had left the two alone because they were so deep in conversation. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, and so Eliza had no choice but to expel them both from her office so she could finish working. They both nodded, neither man was disrespectful and left the office.

Reid practically ran from Eliza's new office, not wanting to see Morgan casually flirt with her any longer.

"Pretty Boy!" Morgan called, running after his friend. He slowed to a jog as he approached the genius. "What's up? Why are you acting so weird?" Spencer stopped walking, Morgan following in his lead.
