"Jason. I'm here because you're a disappointment, you haven't got a proper job and you managed to get yourself kidnapped, stabbed and blinded. By a girl"

"No son of mine will go to a public hospital"

In reality, what happened was very different.

"Jason..."

I heard someone run up to me, a pair of cold hands placed on my face.

"I'm so so sorry"

I frowned, struggling out of his grip

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here for you"

"So now you decide to be present?! Surely there are some more important business matters for you to attend to?"

"Jason...." Percy grabbed my shoulder gently, I shrugged him off

"No, Percy, let me speak"

"You spend my whole life ignoring me, taking phone calls. Heck! You weren't even in my life until I was eleven!"

"I was at your graduation," he said helplessly

"That's not enough!"

"Jason, calm down, you need to stay calm you're in a fragile state!"

"No Percy, I don't care"

I looked around wildly, trying to see if I could directly address my father.

"You shouldn't be here" I growled at him

"Jason, I have a huge company to run. I know I haven't been the best father but I love you, so so much"

I heard his voice crack and felt a harsh pang of guilt.

But it was too late

I felt my blood pressure rise as my heart beat faster.

I can't keep this up

I breathed a little heavier

For a little longer

And before long, my mind was slowly overcome with the feeling of unconsciousness, the cries of both men in the room fading rapidly.
